Will have to check that out on Apple TV. Has Gary Farmer in it. He's Johnny Depp's buddy in Dead Man.

You seem to go out of your way to watch movies you won't like.

lol, sometimes it seems that I do.
I search a bit on Reddit. It’s a bit on the inconsistent side.

You should see Ghost Dog though, and if you hate that, dont bother with any Jarmusch. It was one of the first ones I saw, it will prepare you for the more artsy stuff.

I mean you did recommend Bone Tomahawk and that was a pretty good one.
I also liked when evil lurks, another wgb suggestion.

I will admit that it was a hard movie to watch. Could almost feel serotonin leaking out of my brain. Very harsh world it depicted shot in black and white by legendary cinematographer Robby Mueller. He was the go-to director of photography for bleak, disturbing movies. Paris Texas was probably his most famous.

Be careful who you take advice from when choosing movies. Someone recommended Blue Velvet to my evangelical sister and her Baptist preacher husband. I'm guessing they're no longer friends with that person. I pass on a lot of very good movies because of excessive gore. Too visceral for me.

Power of the Dog was very good. 1920’s Montana - intense drama. Jane Campion directs.

My wife and I have seen a couple of fun, quirky romcoms this past year, Palm Springs with Andy Samberg, and Plus One with Jack Quaid and Maya Erskine.

If you have not seen Self Reliance yet that's a decent one in that vein

Thanks. We've run out of ideas for romcoms.

You ever see the Terence Hill and Bud Spencer movie My Name is Trinity?
So silly, but funny enough for me.
I watched both Trinity movies with kids the other day.

No, deep cut there, throwing out 70s spaghetti westerns like Tarantino (I had to look that up)

I was raised on that shit right there.
I still laugh at their mannerisms and grunts.
