With 2 perfect games, one would like to think she’s at least earned an inning here or there…especially since we’ve run ruled a zillion teams so far. Jmho
In the Pitching Lab during “The “First Pitch on the Diamond” event, we heard from Chelsey and from Olivia that they were reinventing Olivia‘s delivery. Chelsey said something about how Olivia was adjusting well to the changes. They must have Olivia on a certain schedule. I’m hoping she will be ready for this weekend against Kentucky.
In my opinion the orange and blue uniforms the girls wore last night are outdated and have run their course. Time to put these classy ladies in some updated and stylish garb.
If you're referencing the email to season ticket holders, that was in regards to a game in the LSU series.
Anyone know which, if any, of our seniors have an additional year? Or has that Covid thing played itself out?
It’s not too hard to calculate. If they played in 2020, the year didn’t count against them. If they were on a team in 2020, they have 6 years to play four “full” seasons. Someone that played in 20 and took a redshirt sometime after, would still have one year left after this one. Someone that’s played in 20, 21, 22, 23, and is now playing in 24 would be out of eligibility this year. If they missed the majority of 21, 22, 23, or 24 due to injury after trying to play, they may qualify for a medical rs.
The players who are true seniors this year are the first ones not to get a COVID year: Goelz, Wilkie, and Kistler. Of course Sky, Baylee, and Wooten will have gotten all the additional years they are going to get.
Right now, D1 Softball has the Gators projected in the Los Angeles Region (UCLA) as the No. 2 seed with UCLA, Grand Canyon and Cal State Fullerton. Upcoming series wins can get us a region. Let’s Go Gators!
Long way to go. To host a Regional you only have top be in the Top 16. I'm pretty sure we'll get there. The key is to be a Top 8 seed to host a Super Regional and we have a decent shot at that, I think.
Interesting projection given UF's better ranking, record, and beating UCLA head to head. Bruins have played a harder scheule
They may have played a harder schedule but this is why I hate rpi. Head to head and eye test say florida should be the host and ucla should travel.
