MSN List of conference opponents in 2025 Florida will face Georgia in Jacksonville, Fla., will host Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas and will travel to Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.
Also Fsu and at Miami.... It's like Deja Vu all over again. Also how many times have we played at A&M? And Uga?...never.
We did back in the 90s. I was there to witness what I believe is the most points ever scored in Sanford Stadium. Pretty sure we hold that honor for Death Valley too.
Sticking with 8 conference games and making the schedule up year by year is idiotic, pick a formula and go with it.
24 was billed by the league office as a one off bridge year, but that was apparently not the case hey, surprise-surprise. They’re just flipping the 24 home/away schedule for 25. They can’t agree on a permanent 8 or 9 game SEC formula. So they kicked the can down the road, weak, imho.
The SEC does this to stop complaints/disagreements with SEC schools. They need to either go to a 9 game schedule with a reasonable rotation like they said they would do with NO divisions. Or bring back the divisions and rotate a 8 or 9 team schedule. I would rather we go to a 10 SEC schedule and bring back the divisions... add Auburn to the SEC East (Oklahoma and Texas to the west) and call it done.
I believe they already said that next season would be return games regarding home and away so no surprises.
Wow... I honestly thought we were playing the 7 SEC teams we don't play in 24. (plus UGA of course.) So another year of murderer's row... No Vandy, USCe, or Arky... This just sucks...
So does Tx A/M, Miss St., Tx. and ole Miss rotate off the schedule and we pick up four new teams in 2026?
I wouldn't write those schedules in pen. With the likely demise of the acc, there's a good chance things will be different anyway
And, why are we playing Texas two years in a row? We shouldn't have to play anyone except our regular rivals every year in the new SEC. Should be every other year at most. SEC schedulers are idiots.
