THE TIP-OFF• Florida returns to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021 and for the first time under second-year head coach Todd Golden, who becomes the fifth head coach in Florida history to lead the Gators to an NCAA berth. The Gators will face Colorado or Boise State, which will be the first meeting ever vs. either opponent. • First-team All-SEC honoree Zyon Pullin ranks third in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.76) and is on pace to post the SEC’s best single-season A/TO number of the 2000s. Thanks once again for a very informative game thread, @GatorGrowl! I know I speak for everyone here when I say we always appreciate the effort you put into these for us! I'm SO excited for the opportunity we have this year playing in the NCAA Tournament....and especially happy for the kids!!!
I put a TV schedule up on the NCAA Tournament thread but will post it here as well. The Boise State/Colorado game will be played tomorrow night at 9:10pm ET on truTV.....
I asked the same question a few years back - the floor has been since changed for playing usage, but I am unsure where the floor materials are held now.
I have a 1’ x 1’ section of the 2nd Championship floor, signed by Billy, in my Gators room. Kids bought and gifted it to me back in the day.
I have a signed Gator basketball by Billy Donovan AND a rare Gator football signed by Will Muschamp! My wife got them for me from a guy that she worked with that went to a promotional event. I actually gave the football to my grandsons to throw around because you know... it's rare.
I was curious, after some searching, I found the at large berth play-in teams, a team we will play, has only a slightly less then 50% win rate. Surprised me. UF played one in 2018 against the Bonnies and won.
FYI....the truTV channel on Spectrum cable in my area (C. FL) is 1291. The Buffs are 3.5 pt favs.......
I had to reinstall Max to get the first TruTV game tonight that had a lot of drops. And during the in between game stuff a former coach that should know better said that Grambling State benefitted from playing a lot of good out of conference teams with CONFERENCE officials. Officials in basketball are not tied to conferences. Jerk.
I heard the same comment and tilted my head like my dogs used to when I said something dumb....... Tip at 9:28........
