A few observations: - We all have emotional issues which compel us to act against our larger best interests. I have the impression the loss of 13 service men's lives weighs heavyily on you. As a former serviceman, I can understand. - Every President must make difficult decisions. As such, they are subject to disagreement and criticism. We must always look at the larger picture, recognizing that even the best err. -FYI, I was complaining as early as May that we needed to start evacuating and felt we waited way too long. Since then, other facts have come to light, leading me to hesitate placing the blame all on Biden. Like most things, it was a series of events and decisions resulting in enough blame to go around. If you just don't like Biden's policies and prefer Trump's, then be honest and say that. To not vote for Biden simply because of Kabul is a mistake IMHO.

I've voted 3rd party plenty of times. Voted Gary Johnson twice. This ain't the time. One candidate is an abject proven threat to our democracy. You know it as well as I. There's no protest votes in this election with what's on the line.
It pisses me off when folks toss out "senile"! He's my age and no more senile than I am. I'm not saying this applies to me by any means, but with age comes wisdom. There was a time in this country - and it's still that way in many others - that the elderly were respected for their wisdom and counsel and not dismissed as "senile". So disagree with Biden's policies all you want, but don't just disingenuously toss that criticism out there as an excuse not to vote for him.
Voting for a third party candidate or not voting at all is a way of expressing one's dissatisfaction of the major party candidates. In terms of the net result it's an implicit although clearly unintended approval of the candidate who actually wins the election since the protest vote would have no effect on the actual outcome.
Saying it over and over doesnt make it true. My right is to NOT vote for anyone that I cant stomach as potus, so neither will get my vote. I may simply abstain and vote only for down ticket candidates.
In a way I guess I am saying that the country will lose either way. By voting for one of them, I contribute directly to that problem. One of them is going to win. I just refuse to support either one in the process. I'm not pulling the lever for a known bad candidate. Its a net zero. Trump loses my vote. Biden doesnt gain it. That actually hurts Trump the most because Biden would have never had my vote, but Trump did 8 years ago. I am a net loss for Trump, which is fine by me.

The piece of paper, he told lawmakers on the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Tuesday, (March 19), had the president's signature on it and called for the complete withdrawal of U.S. forces from Somalia by December 15, 2020, and from Afghanistan by January 15, 2021." Brest adds that "roughly a week later," Milley "received a new order from then-National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien, which called for the U.S. military to reduce its troop presence to 2500." According to Brest, Milley didn't reveal, during his testimony, who gave him the note calling for total U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. After Biden became president, he went ahead with the withdrawal of U.S. troops from the country.
