A student persuaded by his friend to get his legs amputated for a $1.3 million insurance scam wound up getting only $7,200 that he now has to return: prosecutors Not really political, but this dude in Taiwan dry iced both of his legs and they were amputated in order to collect a million dollar policy. However they presented a story that they are riding around at night on their scooters in 42 degree weather, and this supposedly caused the severe frost bite evenly on all of his legs, but only his legs. Apparently Florida Man lives in Taiwan too.
