Despite what some are saying, missing Michah will hurt. Our 4 bigs had gotten into a smoothe rotation pattern that was working well with 20 fouls to give among them. With Micah being out, I don't think Coach Golden will go deeper into his bench and at times will have a smaller lineup on the floor, giving more minutes each to Samuel, Haugh & Condon to rotate as the big men. They will have to adjust on the fly with just a few days to get ready. Mich had some big games and some games where he didn't put up many stats. But he ate up minutes and he shot-blocking presence and rebounding per minutes will be missed, IMO.

Hopefully get past the first round, but if we play Marquette in the second rd i think we have a good matchup. Being from Wisconsin i watch both Marquette and Wisconsin a lot. We have the size advantage and shooting advantage vs them. Kolek and Kam Jones are the only threats really outside and i think our guards can cause trouble for them. Just have to stop the drives and pick and roll with their 6'9 big who had a good floater game but cant shoot outside the paint. Kam Jones and Tyler Kolek are dangerous also in the pick and roll. Clayton and pullin have their hands full.

    Edit:
David Joplin is also a threat from 3 but only as a spot up shooter, thats why Marquette is dangerous on the pick and roll they have the option of kicking it out if we help too much

Just discovered this guys site. It's another NCAA Bball analytic site. Some interesting data, maybe a little too much pure numbers(small schools over weighted imo), but interesting still.

This years final four is sponsored by the American Whistle Corporation. And as thanks for their sponsorship, we're bringing back Ted Valentine to showcase their products! -NCAA, probably /s

Yeah, but Kevin Harlan is the best in the business. Watching the tourney with him is a blast.

I am sure that you know what you are talking about, but what do you base your opinion on, and how did Tyler Kolek play for them in the UConn game?

Save for his first run with VCU Smart's teams always flame out in the first weekend, most often in the 1st game.

I've been seeing alot of analysts picking Florida to lose the first round. Hopefully the team sees that and motivates them.

For what it's worth, Colorado is -2.5 against Boise State.

Hearing several pods give some UF love, more than one guy that handicaps has UF in the final four. If we can get past the first round, I like Pullin against Marquette especially if their PG is limited.

You can't have a Big Dance without some epic music. So I'm bringing it back. I asked all 68 coaches in the men's NCAA Tournament to name their favorite band/musical artists. The answers are incredible. Here are their picks, + the stories behind them https://cbssports.com/college-basket

"Sublime" for Coach Golden.....great choice! :)
