Guys showed a lot of guts getting to this point. Tigers are fresher and more able to play in a physical game.
As did NC State in their 4th game, which went to OT. Which they won. If we play a 5th game tomorrow, we can play 12 like they did.
Great tournament for us with a terrible day to end it. Too bad it ended this way, but still very proud of this team and looking forward to seeing the draw at 6.
Obviously, this one is over. So proud of this team, though. I don't know what the Tournament holds without Handy,but I have enjoyed watching this team this season.
Fourth game in four days and lost a guy who gets 20 minutes a game. Hell of an effort this weekend, but just ran out of steam.
Yeah, I excused not going to him yesterday due to matchups. Makes no sense on Sunday with a tiring group of guards against the team that Kugel played his best game against in the conference.
Switching off to concentrate on the baseball game. Good run guys. Gutsy group. Just too much to overcome emotional and physically. Let's see who and where they play in the NCAA Tourney. We're going to be a tough out for whoever we play. This is a gritty team.
On a positive note, I don't think I have to listen to Jimmy Dykes for another year, so there is that.
It's just too easy of an excuse. We haven't hit our threes, Clayton and Richard haven't been hitting, and we lost Micah.
