Never gets old seeing this. Full confession…..in Real-Time….i thought the play was crap…..and was DOOMED…..


So HAPPY to be SO WRONG .

 

Lunardi has St. John’s as first team out. St. John’s just won 6 games in a row before losing 95-90 to UConn in an extraordinarily well played game at the Garden. St. John’s is #32 on NET, #26 on KenPom and #21 on Torvik. I doubt that there are 10 teams right now that I would pick over St. John’s on a neutral court. The NCAA is incompetent.

 

There’s only so many spots, and there have been a ridiculous amount of “bid stealers” in conference tournaments. There are 3 or 4 teams getting left out that would have clearly been in in almost any other year. It’s a numbers game.

 

I would like to see Shimmy play, provided he’s actually ready. Need the 4 deep bigs.

hopefully Kugel will be back with a vengeance

 

I doubt they'll put Shimmy in for his first action of the season in an NCAAT game.

 

6 feels about right to me, 7 is the lowest we could be, but I'd say a 5 is more likely than a 7.

 

St. John’s is one of the few teams that is capable of beating UConn. If they don’t get into the tournament or barely get in, it’s because the system apparently doesn’t take into account how a team is playing at the latter part of the season and how close your losses were to top teams.

 

Pleeease, give us a Friday opener. We have a lot to overcome right now.

Boise State/Colorado

No biggie......just glad we're on the other side of UConn...lol......

 

OK not crazy about a 7 seed but not too bad of a draw playing the winner of Boise State/Colorado and if they win will most likely play 2 seed Marquette.

 

That draw sucks.i thought a 6 for sure.

 

Don't worry about Marquette, they will lose in the 1st round
