South Florida is up 30 pts on East Carolina with 5 minutes left in the game. They may need to win the conference tournament to get in the NCAA tournament even after winning the regular season conference title.

I think they're off on projected seeding based on giving UF a 20% chance of making the sweet 16. I think after the Bama win UF is no lower than a 6 seed at this point. Unfortunately I don't think beating A&M and possibly miss state/Auburn gets UF to a 4 seed. If it was UK and then UT back to back then yes. Maybe I am not understanding it correctly, but any win going forward is a Q1 correct? So are all Q1 wins created equally or would a win against UK and UT mean more than A&M and Miss state for example? Just curious if anyone know definitively how that works?

So this is why I am hesitant to bet anything on Tennessee in the NCAA tournament. Other than Barnes being an underachieving coach in the postseason, I just don't think Tennessee has anyone to go to if Knecht is held down. If you hold him under 20, you can beat Tennessee. If he has to sit with foul trouble or just has an off night, Tennessee could be out the first weekend and I wouldn't be shocked at all.

I would have really liked to see UF at our current level, match up with Tennessee again and see how it goes. I think we have the guys to throw at Knecht to give him problems.

I watched part of one of their games just to see him. I wasn't impressed . . . but he could have just been having a bad game.

Edit: He can shoot 3s though.

Houston beat by 28. Largest loss by no. 1 in last game before NCAAT since 1982.

Wolfpack wins 5 games in 5 days as a 10 seed to win the ACC tourney title for the first time in 37 years, beating rival #1 seed UNC 84-76. A title that gets them in to the NCAAT.

    Pack was 9-11 in ACC.

It would be so weird if they played Houston for the NCAA Championship.

Iowa State should be the 4th top speed with North Carolina dropping to a 2 seed in the same regional

I am so old that I remember when perennial champion UCLA exacted revenge on Houston in a 1969 rematch.
