jerry probably got a buyout. With his NBA money, I hope he lands another gig where they support him.

well to be fair, when was the last time we beat them? Taylor was waving goodbye to Kat fans right after they beat them, guess we didn’t like his antics. karma is a bitch! He didn’t look to happy today, LOL. Suck it Taylor, go pro and live you life. I don’t want to see you barreling to the middle at the basket and getting a foul for charging aggressively into opposing players. Condon says hello since he blocked you a lot today. Time to give it up as the Gators are on rise in the SEC. Go Gators, beat Aubie and Pearl, teach the SEC has a new sheriff intown, LOL.

They were 9-9 in the conference so somebody was beating them.

Thanks! I think the biggest change we’ve seen is the use of our skill across the floor and on the bench. Earlier on the season we often slipped into contests of “our guards versus yours”. Ours were good enough to win a lot, but we were limiting our potential. Whether the change is in golden or the team gelling… or maybe both… I’m thrilled.

Both teams will be tired. 4 games in 4 days. But I'm pretty sure Auburn and Florida are two of the deepest teams in the SEC, so it should be even that way. We beat them pretty good earlier in the year - one of the best overall games we had all season, especially defensively. Held them to 65 points.

Incredible win! When they got up 18, I was thinking that the Gators legs look a little tired & maybe A&M has our number, but the Gators kept grinding and cut the lead by half. Came out and played really well in the 2nd half in a gutsy win & heroic effort by Aberdeen.

This should solidify the 6 seed for the Gators imo. Net 28 before A&M win, another Quad 1 win, 6th of the year, should boost that a little. 13 of the last 17 wins after today, 5 of the wins are Quad 1, 4 ranked. Even with a loss tomorrow, Auburn has a top 5 Net, so a loss shouldn't change that too much, but can't get destroyed. However, beat Auburn with that high of a Net and the Gators would really get a boost in the Net and could realistically be a 5 seed.

That's if the Committee doesn't have the field already set. However, if they are looking at tomorrow's games, the Committee could have some scenarios figured out between us and Auburn and the other championship games. Auburn could be playing for a 3 seed if they win and a 4 if they lose & the Gators between a 5 and a 6. Hard to know year to year what criteria they most look at so maybe the Gators with a win could be a 4 seed even? Just awesome discussing seeds without worrying if we're in or not.

Either way, it’s going to be tough to win tomorrow with Auburn playing 1 less game, but at least today's game was done much earlier than the last 2 nights, and the team can hopefully get some rest. Really enjoyable last 2 games. Lets see if they can win the SECt vs Auburn. Go Gators.

My bigger concern is that we may get a 5-seed rather than a 6-seed and now go up against a 1-seed schedule versus a 2.

We did fine as a 5 seed in 2000.

our balance and depth is our strength. We're legit 9 deep now that Aberdeen is back on the scene

I actually think he played better off the ball than on it. I'm wondering if that could be the long-term revelation here.

Doubt it. 6 would be a pretty heavy move up for the tournament. We are sitting at 25 in KenPom and likely somewhere around there for Net. Technically, that would be the first 7 seed, but they might slip us up to the 6, given the recent form (Vandy game aside), especially if we win. Doubt that they really are going to move around much tomorrow.
