good question. I can't see anywhere in college being better for him, especially with all our returning pieces (hopefully)
He’s the worst passer at guard I’ve ever seen at UF. You don’t turn that around in one year. It would be like making a RB into a QB, not happening at this level.
The Kugel at PG take is one of the worst takes I’ve ever seen or heard. He has horrible handles and is a horrible passer. More than half his driving passes go off the other team.
You’ve got to be kidding yourself if you don’t think Golden will be bringing in 4-5 transfers……and I’d be willing to wager that at least 3 of them start.
Kugel's mind goes faster than his body. And he tries things he shouldn't. He needs more games to mature, know when to go slow and when to go fast. Learn to make the easy pass. Glad his defense is good. Otherwise he needs to take it easier on offense and trust his shot.
that all depends on transfer outs, but I don't seeing 3 transfer starters. Depending on the projectsions look for Kublickas (PG) and Szymczyk (yes, I had to look that up), we might not have any transfers. At this point, I expect Kugel to leave, if not only to look for a fresh start. Plus we have that HS PG coming in for bench support. I really don't see Aberdeen as starting material, so if Kub is not it, then I'd say TFG brings in an experienced PG. With Szy, we should have enough bigs (4) for the 4-5 rotation as that would be the same number in rotation as now. If Handlogten is not starting at 5, then Condon would be or do you see Condon as being a perinial back-up? That would be ideal to have a sub of his quality, but don’t seeing that happen. If we brought in a starter at 5, one of those would leave.
So you don't think Condon, Haugh, Richard, Handolton start and Clayton if back. If he Gets 3 players to take 3 spots we win NC.

He came in grossly underrated (by most) and has literally improved every month of the season-I think he's good enough right now to start for ANY team in this conference if it was strictly a merit based discussion.
NCAA suspended any limits on transfers for the rest of this academic year after a judge ruled against the previous restriction. I think its reasonable to assume those limits won't be reimposed next academic year, courts would just strike them down again. Though that's not official yet, if Clayton (or anyone in his position) were determined to transfer again I think they'd get it.

Assuming that none of Condon, Haugh or Clayton leave, I would bet my house that we don’t have 3 new transfers come in and start.
wonder if it's because of his early injury or because he wasn't quite ready to contribute and needs another year or 2
I have a stupid question. I was not paying attention to prior to the season and the month of November. Who is this Shimmy person you all refer to? Update. I figured it out the guy from Germany. Ok new question. What is his story? Is he a bad ass and why is he not playing?
I have seen and think Kugel can be a great passer IF he can stop throwing the low %, risky passes he seems to throw every game. It makes no sense to try to thread a one armed bounce pass into a scrum of players. Just keep the ball moving and making safer plays with the ball.
First off….he will absolutely get a veteran point guard. That’s how you sustain and even get better. And losing Samuel, he’ll definitely get an athletic big inside…..or we completely lose our 4 man big rotation which has been so tough on opponents.
Pretty sure that was just a TRO and it’s already expired. The lawsuit is still ongoing. The NCAA said you can play if you want, but if they win the lawsuit, they may penalize the teams and players thay played outside the rules. Have you seen something different?
Maybe on vet PG but the five mentioned will start or play starter minutes. Only exception would be if Clayton doesn’t return. Yes, he will get a transfer to replace Samuel that doesn’t mean he will start. Can’t negate the contributions of Condon and Haugh. Both are very good and will only get better. I think Condon is already better than Micah.
