Admit, I’m back on the bandwagon, sorry.

BUT I’ve also been watching since the Hill days.

Now that’s out of the way. It sure seems to me on every game I’ve watched we’re a well oiled machine that does better in the second half or maybe that defense runs teams down, a little of both?

The more we are not sitting around not playing, the better we do. It’s not baseball but it’s not football either. This team looks goood. It’s good to see us playing at this level again.

If Golden has another year even matching this one to date, lock him down even more.

Besides Pullin not having a very "Pullin-esque" game, the story of the game was the amount of misses around the rim and the free throws. That was a close game that should not have been that close. I thought that Mike White coached his best game I saw this year. I give him credit. His T did backfire on him though.

I hope the team's defense gets better tuned for the remaining games this season. That and making FFs is the key moving forward.

I thought MW would go to a 1-3-1 once Pullin got hit with his 4th. Shocked he didn't.

I hope someone posts a clip of Clayton getting dry humped in the corner during an inbound in the last few seconds of the game which led to a turnover. I hate this dirty conference.

Mike White smartly went zone all game. That's still an issue for us.
I doubt Bama will zone us; they thrive on speed, not slowing things down. But so do we. Aberdeen will get plenty of minutes tonight.

I had to rewatch the 2nd half this morning. Anytime we beat the Dawgs it's a good night. To win without Pullin for the majority of the 2nd half is impressive against any team, especially one that's pressuring the ball like UGA did last night.

I dont think we should change up our starting lineup this late in the year, but I am to the point where I would much rather see Condon out there than Micah. Condon played some tough minutes last night, and really started to show an edge. Dude has been slapped and elbowed every game it seems, and last night it was like he finally had enough and started to go at some UGA guys, I liked it. DeLoach did everything but kick someone last night, guy should of been fouled out before half.

Samuel last night just struggled and idk if he finds his FT stroke before this tournament is over this might linger a couple games here. Hopefully he can get that cleaned up before the NCAA tournament. I did love seeing Clayton talking to him when he was struggling, it seemed like Clayton's leadership was on full display last night with Pullin sitting.

How about Kugel hitting all 6 of his FTs down the stretch? I know his shot from the field was off, but his effort was there on defense and rebounding all night.

Overall hard fought win, suck it UGA. I loved hearing all the barking when they tied it up at 68, and Clayton rips a 3 to shut it down.

To be fair, his teammates weren’t giving him the ball in good places for him to score.

UGA was doing this with their screens all night long. It's the same strategy Bama employed on their court, except Bama was laying some really hard checks that went uncalled.

They’re not conference refs. Doug Shows, the head douchepickle last night, refs for SEC, ACC, BIG EAST, AMERICAN ATHLETIC, PAC 12, ATLANTIC 10, MOUNTAIN WEST, SUN BELT, SOUTHERN, SWAC.

Kugel with a huge offensive rebound and putback then 6-6 from the line to close the game. So nice to see him excel in such a crucial situation

    Thanks for pointing this out.

There's no such thing as "SEC refs"....they officiate in other conferences........

Seemed to me that we did OK with the zone getting open shots, especially in the the middle of the paint, we just couldn't hit them. Even ZP was missing shots he normally hits.

Haven't read a lot of the comments here, but props to CTG for bringing it to the attention to the refs that UGA can't sub if no time ran off the clock at the end. The man knows the game!

He earned his raise last night

Just for giggles, I ran Value Pt Scores for the team. For reference, a "1" is an average game. 1.5 is generally a good game and anything above that is very good. Below 1 is a below average game.

    Richard..................2.29
    Samuel..................1.20
    Pullin.....................1.10
    Headband Jr............1.06
    Kugel.....................1.05
    Haugh....................1.00
    Condon...................0.83
    Handlogten..............0.31
