MLK would be right up front at a Trump rally?

"Where is he? Where is he? Oh, there's my black! He's right down there. Everyone see my African-American?"

"Great support from that group, they love me! You know, after 9/11 I personally saw thousands of Muslims in New Jersey celebrating the attack. Saw it with my own eyes. And the Mexicans are all rapists and drug smugglers. They're vermin, poisoning the blood of America!! But the blacks love me!"

Is that how it would go? Remember, that guy you Trumpies love and vote for is not racist is any way! Not his comments, not ANYTHING!

Every year on MLK Day, righties embarrass themselves by posting a famous quote from MLK and pretend like they support his message that preaches equality and anti-racism. Then the other 364 days of the year, they can be found defending a supporting inequality and racism. It's very amusing to see.

Maybe not but I know where he wouldn't be. He wouldn't be a modern day left rally. He's definitely not going to be at the pro abortion rallies the left puts on.

    I think you mean "pro-choice."

Remember, all you "pro-life" frauds have no problem with Putin killing 100s of thousands in Ukraine or Israel killing 10s of thousands of civilians.

Just like you had no problem with all the deaths from invading Iraq. Your situatinoal ethics fools nobody.

I think it’s like pornography. I don’t know how to define it but I know it when I see (or hear) it.

Nope, it's pro-abortion/pro-murder and you know it. Now I actually do not have a problem with putting in exceptions for rape, incest or health of the mother and would be willing to compromise and allow first trimester abortions. That doesn't mean I morally agree with it. But anything past first trimester outside of the exceptions above is flat out murder in my mind and as far as I'm concerned both the mother and the doctor who performs it should be in jail.

As for your other comment, I'd rather be pro-Israel than pro-Hamas. Would you like to remind me who performed an unprovoked invasion and terrorist attack in October? It sure as heck wasn't Israel.

Care to remind me who uses children and women as human shields? Or who has hostages? That would be Hamas thank you.

I hate what's happened to Gaza and I don't want to see death but as far as I'm concerned they sealed their fate by supporting a terrorist organization. And maybe Hamas should've thought about all the people in Gaza they were condemning to death before their terrorist attack in October. Every person in Gaza who has died. Their blood is on Hamas's hands, not Israel.

As far as I'm concerned Israel has been too nice fighting an opponent who has no respect and who will not honor any accepted rules of war. Gaza as far as I'm concerned should be nuked and turned into nothing but a parking lot.

Nope, it's situational ethics and you know it. You don't mind killing when it fits your ethical framework. Nor do you truly care about people's quality of life. (See Ukraine, where you'd like 45 million people to be controlled by Russia.)

Also, how many abortions do you think your presidential candidate has paid for? ;)

    See? You're not pro-life.

You're just pro-"the lives you prefer." Or pro-"life when it's politically expedient to you."

I openly admit to not watching Fox News. I despise Fox and pretty much all cable news. Tucker on the other hand is my guy and he runs circles around the race baiters you cling to on The View.

Rightfully so! Florida is getting a reputation as the most racist legislatively in America! DeSantis is leading the way!

    Column in today's Washington Post.
Black college athletes can send a message to Ron DeSantis by staying away
The story was told to me more than 30 years ago in a small Southeast Texas church, where I joined regular folk and former NFL stars at the funeral of Willie Ray Smith Sr. The legendary Texas high school football coach, it was said, had for a decade refused to let his players go to White southern college football teams after they acceded to suit up Black players. Instead, he continued to steer his best players north, particularly to Michigan State, where his middle son, future NFL Pro Bowl defensive lineman and actor Bubba, helped the Spartans win a national championship.

It was a protest born as a sort of athletic underground railroad, as sportswriter Tom Shanahan accurately described it, referencing the escape route north for enslaved Africans in the antebellum South. The reason? For more than a generation in which Smith coached, those Southern White schools for which his sons and the sons of other Black families dreamed of playing didn’t believe in diversity, equity or inclusion.

It was as if such policies of fairness were “toxic” and had “no place” in the South’s public universities. Over half a century later, if you can believe it, that is how Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) described diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. This was after the University of Florida announced last week the sacking of all things DEI, something for which the reactionary governor has been clamoring.

It was enough to spur Emmitt Smith, the Pro Football Hall of Fame running back who is arguably the greatest football player in the history of Florida’s flagship institution of higher learning, to respond to DeSantis that he was “ … utterly disgusted by UF’s decision and the precedent that it sets. … We cannot continue to believe and trust that a team of leaders all made up of the same background will make the right decision when it comes to equality and diversity. History has already proved that is not the case. We need diverse thinking and backgrounds to enhance our University and the DEI department is necessary to accomplish those goals. …
