True, and the number of overall carries goes down when they have a pocket passer as QB. Which is what Kirby Shart looks to be going with.

And had he stayed with the Gators, ESPN would not have tagged him the best RB. So make of that what you will.

Don’t really care anymore. ETN is gone. Very good player but the team needs 11 doing their job each play to succeed. 1 player does not make a team great but 1 can make a team average.

Surely they would have tagged him as the best RB2?

Better teams get more publicity and their players get overvalued. Unfortunately we are on the other side of it.

ETNs draft stock will be higher going to UGA. The risk is he gets buried but even if he gets 75% of the rushes he would have gotten at UF his stock would be higher. Brands are powerful.

Agree with all, except there’s nothing “unfortunate” about it. Our university has made a series of dumb decisions, is why we are in this situation.

Don't wish anything bad to happen to him. I wouldn't be surprised if there are no repercussions or slight punishment for this. He made a business decision to leave but I wish he found a few more words in those interviews to praise his teammates and coaches at UF. Maybe he did and I just missed them.

I don't know, taking a team with a 62.8% all time winning percentage and going 6-7, 5-7 and likely 4-8 or even 3-9 in year 3 is definitely a turn around.

He's a nice guy. Just like Mike White. Maybe that's our hiring goal now. Nice guys.

He left to join a hated rival and verbally lifted his leg to piss on the way out. I hope the mail truck hits him.

I'm one who does not blame him for leaving the team. I doubt the mood in the locker room was optimistic end of season. But a RB that needs to improve to be NFL ready and a capable every down back should not be out at 430am, under the influence and driving recklessly. Could be a wake up call or signs of things to come. He's Shart's problem now.
