idk if Rufo is racist but I do know his ideas regarding higher education are not in the best interests of the country. If you thought dei is bad his ideas are worse. Basically ending academic freedom. Only teaching what the state wants you to teach. Bad.
The history of fetishizing Asian women Asian fetishization isn't flattery. How we've dehumanized Asian women What White Men Say in Our Absence The Deadly Consequences of Hypersexualizing Asian Women | Scientific American https://www.washingtonpost.com/gend...sian-american-women-we-shouldnt-be-surprised/ And on and on and on
One of the articles: The dangers of dating as an Asian American woman: 'Fetishization isn't appreciation' I guess you can't tell the difference. And maybe you assume she can't.
I just took the first few links from a google search Of thousands of hits. There is a ton to read on this. I’m not sure what point you’re making all I’m saying is that you can be both racist and like Asian women. It’s a known trope. Idk about rufo but just posting a picture of his Asian wife doesn’t make him automatically not racist.
Yep. LOL at any person who claims that a white man can't be racist against Black people because he is attracted to Asians. Hell, didn't that white supremacist who posts on this forum talk about how he likes Asian women?
A simplistic, yet erroneous, view of the universe. Your basic premise is flawed...that racists are prejudiced against people of all races other than their own.
If we have learned anything about recruiting in the present day it is NIL is king. NIL trumps the NAACP's DEI Florida boycott. Sorry, your wishful scenario won't play out.
LOL at any person who thinks someone is a racist because you disagree with his politics. This is what a real racist looks like
Well at least we can all agree racism isn’t dead now. Thank goodness - I thought we’d never get there!
Lolwut. I can think of a few historical situations where it is IMPOSSIBLE to separate race from politics. Like… that is the very essence of the attacks on DEI. Let’s look at the Jim Crow south. Modern racial gerrymandering and these attacks on diversity i view as basically Jim Crow light. They don’t have to attack individual civil liberties or do “poll taxes” if they can systemically tilt the outcome of the group, and yes I believe this activity is racist and not altruistic in the slightest. It’s a strategy. Let’s put it this way, and I hope this point should be obvious. If it weren’t racist and we were living in a post racial utopia, they wouldn’t need to do racial gerrymandering! This is not hard man!
When they trot out Diamond and Silk or some random black person to spout taking points, it’s essentially the “see I can’t be racist, i have a black friend” argument. Who falls for that? When they put forth a person of a certain race and are like “game over man”, isn’t that also sort of racist? Not saying both parties don’t do that, but it’s a bit comical the way the GOP does it when their policies are highly unpopular among that slice of the electorate. The problem is most of the time the policies bely those claims (and Owens in particular I’ve seen spout crazy stuff that if she weren’t black I’d swear she was racist or hated black men). White folks love it a when black folks do self mockery that they could never get away with. When you think about it, it’s a big part of how comedians Eddie Murphy and Dave Chappelle gained such appeal to white audiences. I find them funny, but in a way they are race pimps. I wonder if they’d have found the same comedic success without the race caricatures? Maybe not.
Thomas Jefferson had sex with his slave who bore his children I'm not sure what this proves one way or the other lol
Emmitt is correct to speak out, and that’s his fundamental right as an American. Saw a few “STFU” on the Swamp Gas thread before it got nuked. Pretty sickening that’s the way some people think. But Emmit has one obvious issue in his criticism, the two states he’s most affiliated with are TX and FL. College football itself is mostly rooted in the Jim Crow South. Which not coincidentally, are going to be the states most hostile towards DEI. So while he can be disappointed the state of FL went that route, not sure he should single out FL either, esp considering most associated with the University (not “the state”) are probably on his side. So unless he’s going to steer kids to Deion in CO or encourage kids to otherwise leave the south, it’s much ado about nothing. I don’t think Emmit would do that anyway, he’s merely speaking his mind. Still a bad look for Florida though.
