Not really new but this time the myth of massive voter fraud is being debunked by an investigator specifically retained by the Trump campaign to find fraud. Sadly, the truth and supporting analysis still will not make any difference to the majority of self-identified Republicans who have been convinced by perhaps the greatest con artist in history that the election was stolen from him. For them alternative facts from their Dear Leader always taken precedence over actual facts.
Trump campaign insider recounts failed hunt for 2020 fraud
The expert, Ken Block, learned it had first appeared in a post on a website called TheDonald.win, where it was spotted by the owner of an IT company, who brought it to the attention of the general manager of Trump’s golf course in the Bronx. The golf executive forwarded the tip to the president’s son Eric, who passed it along to the lawyer. At last, the lawyer, Alex Cannon, directed the wild Wisconsin claim to Block, a software engineer and former politician from Rhode Island who was hired by the campaign shortly after the 2020 election.

“I think there is a fundamental flaw with the analysis,” Block told Cannon a few hours later, in a Dec. 4, 2020, email reviewed by The Washington Post. The hundreds of thousands of supposedly double-counted votes were “nothing of the sort.”

“They have incomplete data, did not recognize that, and inferred that the only logical explanation is fraud rather than incomplete data,” he wrote in the email. Block describes the moment in a new book, “Disproven,” which will be released Tuesday. In the book, Block reveals how, again and again in the months after the November 2020 election, he was tasked by Trump’s campaign with batting down implausible and inaccurate allegations that Joe Biden had won the election through fraud.

Once again Trump has proven that he is the master of what Goebbels called "the Big Lie".
FYI (this is from World War II):
The OSS psychological profile of Hitler described his use of the big lie:

His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.
Joseph Goebbels On the “Big Lie”
The description bears a striking similarity to a certain contemporary American politician.

The simplest explanation is that they liked the halftime score, declared victory before the 2d half kickoff and then were unhappy when their team played poorly and got their asses kicked in the second half and they lost.

It’s really no more complicated than that, other than 20+ state legislatures passing elections solutions in search of a problem that didn’t exist rather than actually doing something that helped folks in their states.

    The whole thing is abhorrent.

It's even worse than that since they knew the votes left to count would skew heavily toward Biden. To build on the analogy, it would be like if they knew their starting offense and defense was suspended for the 2nd half, so even though they were leading at the half, they were almost certain to get crushed in the 2nd half.

What's most troubling about this new info is that Trump's own people were telling him very early on there was no significant voter fraud, and Lindel and the rest were falling for a Hoax, but still to this day Trump continues to repeat it... Either Trump is an idiot or he thinks his supporter are idiots.

Yeah, but look at the crowd sizes at his boat parades, obviously he is more popular! Even though he’s never won a popular vote, ever. Boat parade size is all the proof we need.

About 44,000 total votes spread out in a few states would have been the difference according to the taking heads. And the election would have been a tie. Strange how just a few votes in key tossup states changed everything.

It is about 77K total to get Trump to a winning position according to your link. And that is every election now. I think Trump only won due to about 107K votes across 3 states in 2016.

I read less than 80K votes made the difference in 2016, so sounds about the same. Hell, Bush won by just couple hundred votes in one state and I bet Rick doesn't have a problem with that...

And in those states where about 77k votes determined the election, Block, who Trump hired to find fraud, did find fraud, but totally 200 votes. Not 2,000, or 20,000, but 200 total fraudulent votes. Not enough to overturn anything. And in line with prior studies that there averages about 1 fraud vote in between 50,000 and 100,000 total votes.
