After the horrific call on Samuel, it got me thinking. I would like to see college coaches get a challenge. They do it in the NBA and I think it works well. I wish the NCAA would do this in college basketball also. Thoughts?
Agree. I'm watching the MSU v Indiana game. MSU player tripped and fell on a fast break and the ref called a foul on Indiana. Replay showed the Indiana player never got within 4 ft of the MSU player. Absolute phantom call. No recourse for Indiana. That is not a judgment type call. There was no contact. Period. Should be overturned.
Who was it that got three FTs against the Gators for a "foul" when our defender didn't even touch the dude?
That would not do any good. With the officiating in the SEC you would use that in the first minute or two. Then they would call a couple of revenge fouls on your team for showing them up.
