We, of course, offered. But beyond that, I don’t know much of our initial involvement.

I know nothing about us having any chance. I've seen him play a few times on Montverde. While they have some kids more talented, McNeeley is my favorite player. To me he is their best wing shooter but has good size at 6-8 and shows good hustle across the court. Stats say he's getting almost 13 points a game but its hard to get the ball much at MVA. I can easily see him playing PF in college but will probably have his pick if he wants to be a SF then he starts day 1. For example, he would have been the perfect player at the SF spot on a team like ours this year.

Losing big Sam and Pullen makes me SMH.
You talk about tough to replace. Appreciate the insight of what's out there, as mentioned hope coach is on the trail.

IIRC, we were a long shot the first time around. Wonder is anything has changed.

TFG got Samuel, Zyon, Clayton and the freshman to come to UF.
I trust his recruiting acumen and his judgement.

Condon slides into Samuel's spot, so we are essentially replacing Condon (still a big ask). Nobody except for @tampajack1 seems to have confidence enough in Aberdeen to take over the point. No matter who gets the gig, we will almost assuredly experience a step back at the position. OTOH, if we retain players like Richard, Haugh, Handles, Headband, and Condon they might up their game enough that the PG step back is mitigated.

It’s way to early to be projecting next years team. We have no idea who will remain and who will transfer in. In TG we trust.

It’s looking pretty good that we can trust Golden’s recruiting, both high school and portal, and even internationally.

If everyone stays you would think it would be very enticing opening for a transfer PG

Big strong guy that can hit 3's replacing a big strong guy tht can hit 3's. Don't know if he has Condon's post moves. That aspect of Condon's game is very impressive for a freshman.

I expect the starting frontcourt next season will be Handlogten at center, Condo at power forward. Backed up by Eye Chart and Haugh, with spot duty by Olivier Rioux. Haugh will also get minutes at small forward.
Handles already is the best rebounder per minute in the SEC, by far. And one of the best in the nation. I fully expect him to be stronger next season, and to get some intensive offseason training in footwork and low post scoring.
We will miss Samuel but I'm not overly concerned; there's a lot to like in what we have.
