nervous, for sure!!! we have to hope our frosh grow up quickly. Can’t bank on Coppola as poor guy has the worst luck with injuries.
Long, long year … sec hitters will kill us…maybe these guys (Gaels) are good but check their schedule (don’t even recognize several teams they have played)
Coppola would at least negate somewhat the loss of Yoel Tejeda, which was a big loss. Between he and Nesbitt we knew we had a gap to fill. Unfortunately, that gap is bigger than we thought as both guys would have been huge in the pen.
One other thing I feel pretty sure about….Sully gonna have to go longer with starters than he’d like. What I Mean is even struggling a little but only 68 pitches in, we are much better with Peterson still in the mound, eating another inning or two again even if he’s struggling. I feel like what he was doing Struggling was still better than what we have in the bullpen
The Gaels are a good hitting veteran led team. But, I think the turning point in this game was the Albert Error. How many times does an Error result in the runs scored? It changed the momentum.

Tejeda became a clubhouse problem last season. He also has been awful to date at FSU. Certainly has the body and potential, however having a .01 head doesn't help.
