What do that get from the Dem's other than higher gas and groceries? I don't think getting college loans paid off is high on the list. I don't see any free money paying off medical bill or mortgages. I am sure having more IRS agents to check their math and more ATF and gun laws is not high on the list. Most are hard working and don't qualify for welfare. Many work in construction trades and farming. Or both many times. I am white and rural and have been for 65 years. I can't think of anything a Democrat has done to make my life better or easier. 40 years ago those same people were Democrats but most don't vote Democrat anymore although some still do.

 

So you think people from rural areas are racist and idiots? Kind of makes you look like both of those to me. Maybe you should lay off of CNN for a while.

 

The thing is, you probably can't think of a single thing a Republican has done to make your life easier either.

Top bracket tax cuts? Protection from the gay onslaught? Invading Iraq? Protecting Trump? Anti-woke? Those things help you?

This may or may not apply to you, but MANY people like you (but possibly younger) have gotten health care due to Democratic efforts.

This may or may not apply to you, but Republican efforts have completely ignored many people like you; how many rural people (especially younger than you) do not benefit from the deficit-funded top-bracket tax cuts?


A closer analysis shows rural people are far better served by Democratic policies. They just don't seem to realize it, and/or fall prey to the meaningless, ever-changing culture war hate speech from the GOP.
