I have always voted by what was going on in the country and which party I felt we needed at the top with a mix on the down ballot. They both have their positives and negatives, which the country needs at various times, at least needed. Now the republicans, with rare exceptions, has become a shell of itself. Just a bunch of white christian nationalists who want to turn us into a theocracy. There is are no compromising. No thanks. He has pissed off the AOC's of the world because he hasn't done their bidding. He isn't a puppet like trumph is. The border has been an issue for decades. There was a big border bill handed to the pubs on a silver platter and they turned it down because orange man said so, but you're ok with that. No dreamers rights, no pork, no money for Ukraine, just about everything the pubs wanted and it was bipartisan. We are producing more oil under Biden than ever with 13.5 billion a day. He has supported Israel throughout this war with Hammas, but you also have to temper that with the innocent Palestinians being killed in Gaza.
The border bill was loaded with things unrelated to the border. The Biden Administration does not need Congress to take measures to secure the border. You think domestic oil production is in any way high because of Biden? Do you think Trump would push for more or less domestic oil production? Yeah, and how is Biden to temper that? Yelling at Israel to be more precise solves nothing. It’s amazing how quickly the Biden pitch becomes 2016 Trump with some empathy sprinkled in. If you buy that after the last four years, and with the way they have characterized and treated Trump, you’re a lost cause.

A president signing an executive order cannot and should not be a way of instituting policy. We have three branches of government and that is how we pass bills. It would contested anyway. The border bill was a compromise drawn up by a bipartisan effort, just like the good old days. Orange man wants to keep it as an issue because he can't point to anything else. Speaking of the good ol' days, we would never have allowed someone from the outside to dictate our laws. I don't speculate what a former president would have done, the facts are the facts. We have been thrown into a conflict with two countries who have a VERY complicated past and are now at war over that. It isn't fixable in a few months. Netanyahu does not want a two state solution and the Palestinians do. Negotiations are constantly on going for a cease fire, that's the best we've been able to get Netanyahu to do.
