The Horford, Noah Era. I realize that’s a bit of hyperbole, but I think the ceiling for this team is through the roof. Can they win it all maybe not. But even the naysayers are saying a sweet 16 certainly with the consideration for this team. I remember the beginning of the season, thinking wow we’ve got a bunch of athletes, but can they play together as a team. They have proven that they can. Who saw this coming? Go gators beat the world!
The one thing I like is that we have some ballers on this team. If we can avoid those meltdowns, Jr, Pullin, Samuel, Condo, Haugh....those guys bring it every night and seem to step up in the big games. Add a big night from Richard and even Kugel or Handlogten and we can beat anyone
How good would we be if Denzel makes a Casey Prather type leap next year? He has the same size and athleticism as Prather.
On a neutral court, in the SEC tourney, outside of the Vols, I think UF goes toe to toe with anybody. *uhhhhh yeah, Of course I know it's never a neutral setting if one is playing KY but still, against everybody else.....
I really like our team but NC contenders is a bit of a stretch. But if Villanova could beat Georgetown anything can happen.
as long as we don’t play 90s Temple or Syracuse! They are playing really well. I’m not gonna raise my expectations beyond my preseason ones… Sweet 16. Yes… they surely can go further, but it becomes so tough at that stage. I’ve always kinda held the Sweet 16 as a benchmark for a really good season.
No sir Murph, I'm reaching higher than that, I forsee Golden breaking Woodens records, What - 10 straight titles or something like that? Yeah Murph, something like that.
I was excited about that Scottie Wilbekin squad. They could have gone all the way. Chiozza's squad was great too, and as far as excitement not many games will beat that Wisconsin buzzer beater game.
