It’s not all about you. Evangelical Christianity in America has been bad for the country for as long as I’ve been alive and it’s only getting more corrosive and vile. If people want to be part of it willingly fine but I don’t have to stand by and applaud. I will deride it and do everything I can to blunt the impact. Unfortunately that’s mostly by voting.

I have the right to do that without having to participate in some dumbass debate/discussion. I take offense to your insult. Maybe they just need a thicker skin. In the list of vulgarities calling God (something many here don’t believe in) a dick doesn’t really rank. I amreminded of that dick from the Catholic League who went ballistic anytime someone the Catholic Church.

I’ve met many (mostly reformed addicts or criminals) who were pretty terrible people before they found religion.
