He has a great O-line which will help open up huge holes for him... still a traitor.

    Nope. That's Eugene Wilson, IMO.

We're extremely talented and deep at RB. Etienne will not be missed.

Johnson was the RB that had issues catching passes, not ETN. If Johnson had been the one to transfer it would probably be reason #1 why we won't miss him.

I hope we have a run defense next year. You know ETN is gonna get 50 carries vs. the Gators if we suck vs. the run. I just don't want to see him go up there and own us.

1a or 1b like last year?

IDK, but I saw at least 2 guys in the Orange Bowl I would easily trade ETN for. Have fun with better competition.

None of us wants to see that. But is that likely based on the current trajectory of this team? Yeah. If you don’t see a new Gator team in the opener, born-again hard and ready to eat Miami’s guts for breakfast (oh, and, uh, able to count to 11 this time), then you may indeed be able to project the scenario you fear in Jacksonville.

After season 3 BN will likely have nearly as many losses in 3 years as Spurrier had in a decade at UF without 6 SEC championships and two titles. I bet Spurrier looks at our two minute offense and just has to turn his head. The self inflicted wounds...the endless procedure penalties...unable to get plays in on time...the lack of killer instinct and upside down dead turtle ball when we go up 3 points on our opponent (the absolute antithesis of Spurriers teams)...side to side plays and not stretching the field...no adaptation after halftime...unimaginative play calling and trick plays which Spurrier always made work to perfection blown up by piss poor execution and bad timing with the call. Spurrier did more with less when he arrived and did more with more after he grew our program. The only thing I would add to your post is that you should have wrote "He is Florida Football" correctly as all caps "HE IS FLORIDA FOOTBALL".

LOL. Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better. I imagine you think BN is going to eventually win a champ too.

Ugaly has a great OL. Pretty sure they don't have to worry about the RB's being able to pass block as much as we have to.

Against us? Have you been watching the 2 teams play the last 2 years? We couldn't sack the QB against crap teams much less one of the best in the country.

No doubt wrt the Tenn game. That long TD run was the key and no way Johnson takes that to the house. In fact I doubt he would've gotten more than 20 yards on the play.

ETN is entirely indicative of the state of college football.

He isn't the exception, and he will almost certainly benefit from a better O line which will up his stats and NFL potential.

No, I get that. And I don’t bring up his deficiencies in pass blocking to say his jerkoff betrayal was not a loss. It was a big loss, compounded by the fact that he went to a hated rival. I was only saying the problems a person has in one organization often follow them to the next. So it would not surprise me if he lost playing time there, too, if he does not have an epiphany that part of the problem for him at UF was him.

Our lack of defense is our problem-not our offense.

But yeah, bitch and moan every time a play doesn't work. Most offense plays for most teams don't really work, at least on major gain per play average.

Spurrier won his natty when he realized the importance of defense- and hired Stoops.

Pell, Galen, Spurrier Meyer, all won games with defense. Meyer won two natty's with a head hunting defense. He held both OSU and the vaunted Oklahoma offense to 14 points each, in the natty games.

Go back and look at last year's scores and tell me how many games we would have won if we held our opponents to even 20 points a game?

    Our offense isn't the problem.

    But, carry on.

He was no doubt a more explosive runner but the numbers say they were still close to equal with the ball in their hands. It may look different, but the results weren’t much different at all.

Sure sure sure...our defense I get it. No question but is any portion of what I wrote here not needing addressed. Its accurate and all a freaking disaster which hasnt changed over two years and Im not even discussing the unspecial teams perpetual game losing disasters.

"I bet Spurrier looks at our two minute offense and just has to turn his head. "

You can point to the defense all you want but there are some awful ugly warts being rolled out weekly on offense a mere 8 of which I suggested above (please let me know which one you disagree with)...it is factual and when we speak of Spurrier say what you want but he was the guy in charge of the offense weekly and that is what he was known for....oh and winning...lots and lots of winning.

So, lets do it right. 20 points against would be a 7.6 point per game against improvement. For simplicity lets call it 7 points, we give up 1 less TD per game.

    We beat Ark and Mizzou.

Now, what happens if the offense scored 1 more TD a game?

    We beat Ark and Mizzou.

Holy crap, it's the same thing! Who could have seen that coming?

    But, carry on.
