The Vols have always been good in basketball during the regular season, sometimes very good, but as you say never great. No NCs, not even a final 4. Maybe this will be the year Barnes and the Vols get over the hump but hope not. Barnes does have a final 4 from his Texas days. Of course no final 4s for bama.

Looking like the Gators are pretty much locked into the 6th seed unless Kentucky drops the Vandy game and Auburn loses a stunner @ Mizzou or home against Georgia. 6th isn't the worst spot to be in IMO and is much better than 5th because Tennessee is rolling so seeing them Sunday at worst would be a good thing. Agreed, 6th is the more favorable side of the bracket. Don't have to worry about a UT/UK crowd until possibly the championship game.
