True, but then the coaches proceeded to get worse on defense and lose a bunch of games. Hopefully we have some pass rushers step up this year that we don't know about, because now with no Princely or Cox, I don't know who on the team is a legit pass rusher off the edge.

Why can't we just be honest that it sucks to lose him and going to Georgia is a kick in the nuts on the way out. Oh well, RB is probably the least of our problems, so whatever.

May he bless your program in every way Cox and Kimber have blessed ours.

It is fair to debate that booting Cox may have caused some short term pain but everyone one of our coaches since Dickey would have at least benched Cox if not booted him. Come to think of it, I think all but Mullen would have booted him. Grantham probably bought him a steak after games.

I admit that. Still, I hope it doesn’t work out for him or Georgia.

You are seeing something that isn’t there. Everyone who pays attention to my posts knows that I support our players and coaches through thick and thin.

Yep because crapping on his former team on social media, for the world to read is okay if it's true.

Yeah, he needs to remain humble and just worry about his own new team, the butt-lickers.

This is a clear case of “if it ain’t broke, don’t break it” cross intended.

Maybe he doesn’t realize he doesn’t and won’t get the love Gators had for him to perform. He had a chemistry he might not have there. He’s not a “I’m gonna be great” everywhere type of player. He was on his way to the NFL. I don’t see a giant upside other than his trajectory remaining the same when it might not. Maybe he knows something more than us.

Funny you say that because he mentioned playing in December as a reason jokingly. That’s some delicious irony nobody picked up on and I only did because of your post.

He played a similar number of snaps as the number 1. That is ego to have to be number 1. Having to go to a winner rather than leading the change to a winner is the sign of a follower, not a leader. His older brother will likely leave the Jags if entire family has this same weakness. Billy likely is playing the player with greater familiarity with his system. The kid that displayed more loyalty. The better blocker. The one that does not run out of bounds when trying to run out the clock.
