I don't think it's insulting to say I don't think you are being logical. It's not a personal attack, nor was it rude.

Given depth the narrative of losing ETN is more damaging than losing him

He wants to go pro next year so I don’t blame him for leaving. UGA is weird since he may not get the PT he’d get anywhere else

I don’t blame him at all for leaving and doing what he feels is best for him and his family. You only get to enjoy the college football experience once in your life and the reality is that UF isn’t very good right now while UGA is, and kids will always want to play for winners instead of teams that aren’t so good.

First, it would have been good for him to say nothing but I'm sure he was asked and he spoke his heart. I understand why he left and to be totally honest, I'm surprised more didn't go. Honestly, good coaches don't take 5 years to turn a program around. I'm sure it gets tiresome to be part of a consecutive losing season with this coach, no bowl games and simply winning is fun but very little of that in Gville. Personally, I wished he had transferred to a different school but o well.

Too much is being made of the RB2 reference. He’s more of an RB1a anyway. He had 20 less carries than Montrell …or 1.67 less carries per game.

Yes, he can be more explosive but Johnson is the better all around back. ETN struggles with blocking. It’s just a fact. There are numerous film studies out there that have pointed this out.

Bingo. You know it from the get-go when you have a good coach in charge.

I hope there are 11 players in on the tackle every time he runs against us.

It was for the money. RB2 is ridiculous. They were 1A and 1B. Trying to change the narrative.

I want to see multiple Gator linebackers “Moreno” him. I hope that Spikes and Peterson give the defensive squad the pep talks all week,

You are Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. On the basketball board, all you do is the sing praises, no matter how ridiculous they are. On the football board, Mr. Neghead.

How am I being negative? I stand behind Billy Napier and have never called for him to be fired. I don’t even recall criticizing him. I also don’t criticize and whine about the school administration or Stricklin. Not sure where you are seeing negativity from me about our football program. Simply stating the obvious that we have had a losing record isn’t being negative, it’s a fact.

I grew up hating Georgia and will always hate Georgia. As for Etienne, I don't care what he does or says now that he's no longer a Gator. All of us make decisions that we think are best for oursleves and/or our family. He did that, I guess, but I simply don't care because he ain't one of us anymore.

He was good here. Best pass rusher on the team. Guess he wasn't great in the locker room but without him we have had nothing but Princely be able to get after a QB.

ETN is best RB in SEC next year. Some of the posters here are fooling themselves.

I agree he was a monster pass rusher, but that was all he did well. I can’t count all of the times he lost contain on his side, or bull rushed his way right past the running back if the QB handed off on a draw. I guess the coaches put up with his locker room/team issues for a while and then decided he wasn’t worth the trouble.

My guess is he will get the same#of carries or less as he got here. Georgia likes to run between the tackles and that’s not his strong suit. Johnson was much better between the tackles and a better blocker.
