Wallet Hub released its annual rankings of the best and worst states for women based on economic and well being factors. The Southeast US fairs slightly worse than Middle East Sharia law countries. For women, your livelihood depends on what political party runs your state. Vote like your life depends on it. Best & Worst States for Women in 2024 In 2024, women in some parts of America still get the short end of the stick - even as they outnumber men in most states. For instance, women represent more than two-thirds of all minimum-wage workers in the U.S. Their political representation also suffers, as women make up nearly 51% of the U.S. population but only 25% of the Senate and 29% of the House of Representatives. In order to determine how women are faring and where they can find the best opportunities, WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 25 key indicators of living standards for women. Our data set ranges from median earnings for female workers to women's health care to the female homicide rate.
So you’re saying the US SE is worse for women than sharia law in the ME… Dude, your credibility was on life support before you made this ridiculous post. I’m afraid you can’t recover after this one.
Where did he say that? This is one of the most intellectually dishonest posts I've ever seen in this forum. Whose credibility is on life support?
I did type that as an obvious joke in sentence 2 highlighting how bad the GOP is for women. He just wants to distract from the facts.
Read his post again. He said it in the first paragraph. You’re a libbie homer who can’t see straight. I’ll take that apology right about now….if you’re man enough to admit when you’re wrong.
Predictable. Post some slanted, ridiculous “study” and then question the intellect of anyone who questions your absurdity. Did I spell everything right there or did you find something to quibble about?
Hey, if you cannot trust "WalletHub" who can you trust? I'm sure lesbians are thriving in the ME, compared to those backwater towns like Atlanta, GA and Nashville, TN. Oh, except those who are beheaded or thrown off buildings...but I digress.
I questioned the intelligence of someone who had no feedback except for personal insults. I doubt you know what you think is slanted about the study but at least its an attack on the data, and not the poster. Also, you spelled everything “correctly”, but the usage of “right” is very informal and awkward.
I thought that is what this board is all about, try posting something from a conservative view point. Be ready to be called a rube, magat or trumpanzee.
Probably not a shocking result based on how they created the scoring system. Heaviest weighting was placed on categories without concrete data, eg "Friendliness towards working moms". Not exactly something I can go out and impartially measure. Several other categories were centered around women's healthcare and reproductive rights. Those very much are slanted towards northern, Democrat led states. There were no categories that specifically listed things like public policy aligning with personal faith. Ability to influence child education, etc....adding such categories would likely have closed the gap between Dem and Rep run states. If I only use criterion important to liberals, it is not a shock that Dem states are favored. If I use criterion important to conservatives, it is not a shock the Rep states would be favored. Presuming that all those criteria are the same for women everywhere is a bad assumption in my opinion and makes for a biased survey.
I don’t know how this is possible, but I haven’t heard the term, “Trumpanzee” before. It’s funny, can’t believe I never saw it.
