This is how the ball roll sometimes. One day you beat a ranked team you haven’t beaten in years. The next you game you struggle against an unranked team.
Now we see how Florida responds. How will our freshmen pitchers respond after this? How will our offense respond?

 

Small win in a tough situation. We aren’t going to get shutout this game.

This type of game was coming. They now see they can get beat at any time. Was easy for our freshman pitchers

It was fun with all the accolades against mostly sub-par teams. This was a dose of reality I'm afraid.

 

Next weekend will be very interesting. We shall see who the real Cinderella team is.

 

Skylar would like to shove Cinderella’s shoe up Patrick Murphy’s….will be very interesting in deed.

Keagan should have started today's game. Why won't CTW listen me?

 

Sometimes it's just not your day and I this game will make us better in the long run. Still overall a great trip for us. Next weekend will be interesting.

 

Mostly cause you're wrong

 

Late report but trust me when I say the score was worse than it actually was. Mi had 5 of their 10 hits that were seeing eye shots. Their 2nd hit bounce off AKs glove and the 3rd hit was about 1 foot from Skylar turning a double play. The wind was blowing about 20mph from RF to 3rd and 2 more of their hits dropped in front ofKK which cost us 2 outs and 4 runs. In the 4th J Erickason hit a shot to RF that should have been an HR that hit the Orange stripe at the top and bounced back for a single instead of a 2 run HR. We have runners on 1st and 3rd. Once again we hit a shot at the SS who does not move a step for an inning ending out. The error that cost us 3 runs was a drop at 1B by duece. It wasn't a great throw by Rega but it was very catchable as it was shoulder high on her glove hand side. They out hit us only 10 to 7 but they had all the good fortune going their way. After playing Baseball for 30 years, these games happen. The Freshman also had freshman days. CTW started the correct pitcher and relieved her correctly. Next weekend he can not pitch Keegan all 3 days. He was rightly trying to get Ava and O exposure against tougher competition. When Kendra and Skylar get on we do well. When they don't it seems we struggle to score. These games happen and will happen going forward. Think FL/LSU in the CWS.

 

I do not ever again want to think about UF/LSU in the CWS, game three of the finals. That has been permanently erased from my memory. I do relive game two of the finals all the time. I believe in living in fantasy land.

 

Great report. Greatly appreciated. Gators need to put you in the booth for the tv games. Speaking of which, does anyone know why Saturday's Bama Florida game is not being televised.
