We had 3 players who usually play well were off hard to win like that. Still we never stop fighting.
Kugel biggest mystery of the college season. To have the Kugel we had at the end of season last year we might be a top 5 team.

Two things: 1) we have to something about our ineptitude with zones
    2) we have to address the disparity in foul calls. In this game we shot 15 free throws they shot 31. There is no way when you have similar body sizes that there could be such a disparity in shooting free throws. Everything was a clean block for them and everything was a foul for us.

It must be frustrating for Golden. Another game we should have won. Many of our losses are because of biased calls.

One reason is your 3rd guard has to deliver when they double your other two guards. Richard and Kugel haven’t been. Haugh sure did in the first half. He will be a fine starter for us next year.

Piss-poor officiating. There were at least 4 maybe 5 consecutive trips down the court where they blew the whistle on us down the stretch when we were protecting the lead. How is it a foul when we have contact on their offensive possessions, yet no foul when they have contact on us during our offensive possessions?

Well, we learned two valuable lessons that I think should make us ready for the tournaments. Putting Samuel up top is the key to busting the zones.

    1) Against thee 2-3 zone, put him in the high post in a hi-lo offense and let him be the primary scorer/playmaker.
    2) Against the 1-3-1 zone, have him set a screen against the defender at the top and let Pullin drive or get the ball to the strong side corner. There should be an open baseline cutter as well.

6 TOs by Clayton inexcusable. I love the guy but he has to stop the telegraphed lazy-ass passes

CAROLINA VS.The Gators lead the all-time series, 27-9-3, including an 11-7-1 lead when playing in Columbia and a 15-2 advantage in Gainesville. The teams have also met three times at a neutral site with Florida winning once and the other two games ending in a tie.Oct 18, 2019
Is 9 games a lot compared to 27?

EDIT: The Player pointed out the most recent comparison is 31-10
...again 10 is not plenty to me like 31 is

Todd Golden won’t think that . He has obviously not worked on beating it . But the simple message is get it to the corners and shoot them out of 1-3-1

Agreed. There was slight silver lining to this. May have finally seen how we can shred a zone.
