Refs started calling b.s. before they went to the zone. We were slow to figure out the zone, though. Golden made the correct adjustment, but it should have come about 4 minutes earlier.
Strongly disagree. While zone I think was clearly the changing of the tide. The differential in foul calls in the second half was massive.
Tough watch but USCe deserves the win. We looked like crap for a long stretch there when we couldn't find a decent pass to make. Seemed like 10 possessions where we didn't even get a shot off.
31-15 at the free throw line despite us having more rebounds, more points in the paint, and less 3 point attempts.
Kinda weird that he shoots so poorly vs the good teams but great against the turds. Definitely a no show
Clayton - 20 points (6-of-12 FG, 6-of-11 3pt, 2-of-3 FT, 3 Reb, 2 Blk, 2 Asst, 6 TO) Z Pullin - 18 points (6-of-11 FG, 1-of-1 3pt, 5-of-7 FT, 4 Reb, 7 Asst, 1 TO) Samuel - 13 points (5-of-10 FG, 3-of-3 FT, 4 Reb, 2 Blk, 2 Stl, 2 Asst, 1 TO) R Kugel - 10 points (4-of-7 FG, 2-of-4 3pt, 5 Reb, 1 Stl, 1 Asst, 2 TO) T Haugh - 9 points (4-of-4 FG, 1-of-1 3pt, 6 Reb, 2 Asst, 0 TO)
I somewhat agree. Calls were bad, but simple adjustment to attacking the zone, plus not coughing the ball up 20 times consecutively would have been enough to win. I believe the refs pushed it over the edge, but we could have controlled our own destiny by playing better on offense.
I hope we see them in the SECT. We can beat them. That last 3 Walter took, that dude got all hand haha but no call. Tough one but on to Bama. We can win against anyone and lose to anyone lol
As a Gator fan and UNC alum (the real Carolina), I gotta say that USCjr. has a low-life fanbase and school. They'll never achieve greatness in anything aside from baseball and women's bball. They're the epitome of what a little brother school is in that they're happy just beating the teams they usually lose to.
