Then get rid of you fence and leave your door unlocked at night.

In all seriousness, why do support a policy that NEEDLESSLY endangers our children... our mothers/aunts and sisters... our citizens and even our cops?

Good advice, how will my boarders get in to their room if I lock my door and fence off the house?

You mean the people that come into our country are law abiding citizens that would never invade your home? I guess you haven seen the videos of this happening to homes in southerner states... near the Mexican border?

Of course while the President never misses a chance to talk about more gun laws and outlawing AR rifles there is no concern over Fentanyl overdose deaths it seems. Another product of the open border.

Today, the majority of precursor chemicals for illicitly manufactured fentanyl come from China and are synthesized into fentanyl in Mexico. Fentanyl is then smuggled across the border into the United States. This means fentanyl is not just a public health emergency with devastating human and substantial economic costs.Dec 6, 2023

He's saying that he supports Biden's open boarders policy... What do you think he's saying?

Fentanyl is actually a product of the militarization of the border. It is far easier to smuggle than other drugs due to its concentration and (resulting) small size. Drug organizations would love to import drugs that don't kill their customers, but those are harder to slip past the massive number of checkpoints. An unintended consequence of the militarized border is a far more concentrated drug that is much tougher to detect.

Do you know what a "boarder" is versus a "border?"

Cute... you still want floods of illegals coming into our country. And It's obvious that you don't care how many Americans get hurt because if this failed Biden policy. We'll see what the rest of America thinks about that policy come election day.

Last I check boarders are legal in this country, and I can have all the open boarders I want. I can have kinda shy ones too, if that's what I'm feeling.

Stopping undocumented immigrants would barely put a dent in the drug smuggling trade. 90% of drugs that enter the US from Mexico come in as contraband at legal ports of entry, on trucks that are also bringing in legitimate goods. The bill that the Rs killed contained $260million for tech upgrades at ports to attempt to detect more drugs.

And undocumented immigrants are half as likely to be arrested for a violent crime than citizens. Doesn't mean we should import the criminals. And I would imagine, many arrested for violent crimes here already had some sort of violent past. Do background checks at the border, and while not a perfect solution, would likely reduce the number even further.

These threads are so frickin' stupid.

Meanwhile....also in Utah and Pennsylvania.....a NON-Immigrant (almost certainly a member of the Republi-ban) committed multiple sexual assaults AND another NON-Immigrant helped to ignore it.

Are we now going to vilify ALL Mormons? Maybe vilify all US Citizens??

I understand why you didn't know. I went to media matters and typed in their search, and they had nothing. So, I understand now.

The problem is that it is untrue. Biden flew to El Paso and then drove along the border to Mesilla, New Mexico in 2008.

Crime isn't notable when white American citizens do it though, but perhaps Utah shouldnt have open borders. Anyone can just walk into Utah and do crime it seems.

Again. If it was cancelled by the Supreme Court why did the Biden Admin have to stop it? You are making zero sense. Not a surprise. Biden could call it a national security issue and start back up "stay in Mexico" tomorrow if he wanted to. He doesn't want to.

Who is partisan here? You mean the far leftists that want open borders? I'm in the middle so if that makes me partisan, than so be it.

Far for mature and intelligent than your snarky juvenile retort I just quoted. Just try to be a little more reasonable. River.

Anyway, you still haven't told us .... why is the current administration only now “expressing” concern about the number of illegal/undocumented immigrants crossing the southern US border?

If you are unable to follow the timeline, here it is ... in 2018, pre covid, SCOTUS stopped Trump's administrative policy it because it was blatantly illegal ... in 2020, Trump started it again under Title 42 emergency Covid related health restrictions, which was allowed to temporality stand by SCOTUS even though lower courts ruled that was also illegal. The legality of that wasn't directly ruled on by the supreme court, and instead said that point was moot after SCOTUS later did rule that it was appropriate for Biden end the policy when he did ... at the end of the pandemic, as required by law. Now that I've explained it to you like I would an 8 year old, I hope you have learned something. But no, Biden can't break the law when it's convenient for him, unlike what your orange god tells you.
