    Very impressive night for the Gators. Ava Brown, 1 hit in 3 innings, Miller and Wooten an inning each, bats tremendous. 2 games, 24-0 10 innings total, 2 hits allowed. Dominant performace. Now let's get UCLA on Friday!

    Really liked both showings from the gators.... that homer Skylar hit was absolutely crushed. I rewatched the game since I didn't see the whole thing last night.... looked like first time through they struggled with the offspeed again which is 100% what they are going to see against Tinsley and ucla. Hope they are ready.

    Funny...our best pitcher has the highest era and our worst has the lowest. At least whip numbers are more in line

    UCLA plays Michigan at noon Pacific time, and then Florida 30 minutes after that game ends. It will be interesting to see who the Bruins pitch against Michigan, then us. Their most used pitcher is Taylor Tinsley, 38.2 innings, 2.90 ERA, .285 BA against. Next most used is Kaitlyn Terry, 18.1 innings, .250 BA against. Next is Jada Cecil, 13.1 innings, 11.55 ERA, .403 BA against.

    If the Gators beat the Bruins today and don't find themselves in the top 10 on Monday (should be top 5) then there are no Gators in Lake Alice.

    The field here is like concrete. 4 games were played and it was never wetted down. Think public SB fields without semi grooming before each game. It was so hard that Kendra ripped her draws twice and Skylar and Mia once each. As a side note, LBC scored 7 runs on aTm, they got 2 hits against us. CSF run ruled #4 TN, they used the same pitcher against us, they were run ruled and no hit by Keegan. What a difference a real pitching coach makes!

    Aginist UCLA, Rothrock will have to pitch Maya Brady very carefully. She's their Skylar Wallace and a very dangerous hitter.

    Michigan pitched Derkowski against the Gators in Tampa. She pitched pretty well against the Gators with 6 hits. Of course it was the Gators defense that ultimately let down. Do you think they may be tempted to use her again?

    Probably so. I haven't started looking ahead to tomorrow's UF/Michigan game. Been focused on our match with UCLA in an hour or so and then DePaul later tonight. Derkowski has been their most used pitcher going into today. She's thrown 51 innings, 4-4 record with a 1.65 ERA. Jessica LeBeau has thrown 33 innings, 2-2 with a 1.47 ERA. Their 3rd pitcher is Erin Hoehn, who started the game their losing to UCLA now 10-0. She's thrown 26 innings, 4-1 with a 2.69 ERA. Lebeau came in the UCLA game a while ago and got pounded. 2 innings, 5 hits, 4 walks 7 runs, all earned. This loss will drop Michigan to 10-9.

    Their starting pitcher has already given up 10 home runs in 45.2 innings. He we add to that total.
