If none of Clayton, Pullin, and Richard are having an off shooting night, the other team is in big trouble. It usually takes one of them being off to make games difficult.
Yep. And I don't expect many shooting nights from Richard like last night. On top of that, if Riley comes in and has a good game like we know he can, we're really hard to beat.
Who can forget that great Duke guard what's-his-name that hit the most famous of all NCAA buzzer beaters? Something like Laettner? And that NC State guard in 1983? Lorenzo Charles, I think. This is sarcasm for the sarcasm impaired.
Christian Laettner was a Duke big man who scored a winning basket. The NC State win was a shot (put back from missed shot?) inside by a big man, Lorenzo Charles. None were less than 6-9. The shot I recall from a guard was Keith Smart of Indiana from the corner. Our Center position of Micha/ Condo combo was interesting stat wise. They combined averaged about 20 min each per game with a combined 14 points and 14 rebounds, an awesome stat for one center per game.
