I will be at the tournament, and I will try to give some updates. My friend Scrappy does better than me but I will give it a go.
Glad you can get eyes on it. Tinsley had some good games this past weekend for UCLA. I still wouldn't sleep on them but I think we have a good shot if we can just get our bats consistent.
Is the Judi Garman a Cal State - Fullerton tournament? It’s being played on their field and only their games are being broadcasted on ESPN+.
I belive that is the case. Don't know why they couldn't jsut broadcast all... at least UF and UCLA lol.
After looking at the schedule I'm a little apprehensive about CSF and LBSU being back to back and so late. Will need to be locked in for sure.
LBSU is not that good - however, Cal State Fullerton could be a very good if not great team. I am sure our young ladies have been up past 10 pm many times in the last 3 years so I doubt the time will be much of a factor. Remember they are 3 hour behind G'ville time so the game time is actually 7:30. The weather is the problem - it is supposed to be cold (42) and rain off and on. Friday and Sat are supposed to be nice and temps in the high 60's Fri and high 70's Sat.
IG post by Kaila Pollard. Once a Gator, always a Gator. little bump in the road but it’s all my journey! surgery went great and my leg will be stronger than ever, so grateful for my support system and excited to begin my road to recovery. i broke my fibula and tore ligaments in my ankle which required to get a plate and screws. i am so lucky to have an amazing support system with my family, friends and everyone here at UO. looking forward to coming out of this stronger than ever
LBSU has played a tough schedule and is better than who we've been facing was more my concern of having them right after CSF. Just think we don't need to sleep on anybody.
D1Softball just listed Keagan as the 4th best pitcher and Joceyln as the 2nd best catcher in college softball.
Glad you could share from behind the pay wall. I was curious where they were. I knew jocey was in from the picture.... assuming Hansen is ahead of her.
Food for thought. Last year's Oklahoma team, which some say is the greatest college softball team ever assembled, run ruled 12 of the first 19 teams they played. This years Florida team and not even ranked in the top 10, have run ruled 15 of their first 19 opponents. These young ladies have run ruled the last nine teams they have played and only given up one run. Wonder if that is some sort of a record. Is this fun or what?
lol.....Oklahoma is dedicating the first game in their new stadium....named Loves Field after their bag man. Miami (Ohio) has gone yard back-to-back in the top of the first to christen it. (It is very nice, of course, and holds around 4,000).
