That was closer than it needed to be but hopefully we can take enough positives out of it, lots of practice against a zone which undoubtedly teams will play vs us, Samuel played really well and we got to see what the team can do without our top scorer for a long period! Just when you think this team is starting to fire on all cylinders a game at home like this happens, a win is a win I suppose!
yes the big difference this year is when teams go on a run against us or our back is against the wall, most of the time we fight back and regain our poise
Winning games when you’re not at your best is a real character builder. I think this qualifies. And I agree with you we need to practice against the zone going forward. I’ve said it before. No other team wants to see us in their quadrant, when the final bracket comes out. Go, gators!
Cmon. Why not? I haven't been this exited with gator bb since Vegas when Mike took the team to elite 8. I know they blew their games against Bama and ATM. Oh what could have been had they pulled off those games.
I might add it was nice to see my fellow Canuck, Tyrese Samuel have a good game and score some clutch points when needed, his experience could be a big factor down the stretch!
I think it was because Micah was doing really good work, defensively, around the rim. He was very active tonight. It may not show up in the stats…but he put in good work.
yes he was very solid tonight, 12 and 12 i think and a definite presence inside. One of those games where the more experienced guys showed why they're starting
yes, at least we got our revenge at Rupp. Now we need our sweet revenge against Bama at home Beat them worse than UK did
