I don’t believe @ETGator was saying that we are a lock to go 4-0, I think he was saying we’d be a lock to be top 4 seed in the SEC tournament if we went 4-0.

Record vs. #1 seed, if tied again, go to record vs. #2 seed, all the way down to #14.

I think we beat USCe on Saturday.

USCe is at TAMU on Wednesday at 8.30. I expect a physical hard fought game.
They will finish at 11ish then have to fly all the way home to Cola, arriving at 3am or later Thursday.
    That's a tough night.
Meanwhile we are at home with hopefully an easy game and an early start. (6.30.)

Then we play them Saturday at noon giving USCe barely 48 hours to recover.
I could see us jumping on them early and riding that momentum to a nice win.

I'm more worried about Bama at home, but as others have said, I'll take 3-1 right now.

I don't expect to win the remaining four, but it's certainly doable.

yes what a difference 4 months has made....when asked to predict our SEC I opted out as I didn't see us going over .500

yes doable, why not just run the table. And while we're at it, win another 9 straight.

Do we ever ride momentum to a nice win on the road? It's more like we ride momentum into the ground and barely escape with a W (or an L). On the road, anyway.

To answer your question- yes we have done that twice this year.

We won 3 in a row in January and rode that momentum to a HUGE win in Rupp.
Then we beat rode big momentum from the Auburn and LSU wins to beat UGA on the road.

I think you are talking about winning 2x in a row on the road.
We beat UK on the road but lost at TAMU the next game.
We beat UGA on the road and lost at Bama the next game.
IMO we were pretty tired from the previous road trips which is why we didn't close these wins.

Which is why, again, I think we win in Cola on Saturday!!

I think we might be a 1 or 2 point "dog" at Columbia and similar for the Bama game in Hogtown. Odds are decent that we win one of them. Probably it would be better to win the game at USCe as they are closer to us in the race for a top four seed in the SEC tournament. Of course I would love to win both but the odds of that happening are just about the same as losing them both.

The main thing is to not screw up the home game against Missouri or the road game against Vandy.
UK vs Bama is 100% UK
The best we can do is 50% vs Bama
So UK has the tie break

If they do, then USC may see us as a must win game, think I'd rather Cocks win.

hope it goes to Double OT

haha I just thought after our OOC results and knowing how good the SEC is, at .500 we still had a chance of making the tournament. And with the way we started the SEC schedule who would have guessed we'd be 9-5 right now

That said, if I had Vader as a boss I would have exhibited far more faith

I was referring to within game momentum not holding up. But your points are good ones about the schedule being in our favor as much as it can be for a road game.

    I resemble that remark....
I could see the early schedule was rough and we might finish on a roll but I was worried because we play so many transfers they would have trouble gelling down the stretch especially if we lost too many early. Credit to CTG and the whole team for sticking together.

    Yeah- that's a sore subject w/ me.
It's happening too many times for it to be a coincidence.
