5 stars!!! Standing ovation!! whoever came up with this halftime show deserves a raise ASAP. This was Corgi race level good. The intros with nicknames, the PA calling the action, the crowd response, the students celebrating “Hank the Tank” Outstanding job by everyone.
Couldn't find a video or even any photos or article on ours....so here's the one from the Pitt-Boston College game...
I didn't even know there was one at our halftime. I'm not opposed to the thread but without any more info than you provided.......I can't help but think it wouldn't have as much value for the forum, if that makes any sense. The Pitt/B. College one was the only one I could find on the Internet. I mean.....I even searched for Corgi racing! Do you have a link to a video of it or some photos we could add to your thread?
That race was pure gold! Hank theTank is the shizzle. Although the kid on the student side end was the fastest just didn’t get going in time.
I searched but couldn’t find anything uploaded yet. But oh man, it was hilarious, and the crowd was really into it.
It was a hoot. Most of the babies cried and wouldn't crawl, of course. But two did. It was hilarious.
Hank has a crystal ball to UGA next season. Purportedly offered Huggies ULTRA and organic mashed peas and carrots
Having not been to a Gator basketball game in 6 years, I have to say that I was very impressed with the whole affair. Everything was well organized and put together. Easy in, easy out. Fun crowd and great play. Cheerleaders poncing around all cute and bubbly, but also very organized and disciplined in what they did. I don't know who coaches them, but whoever he/she is, deserves kudos. I think if more gator fans that post on this board actually experienced the games, a lot of the negativity would stop. What I saw Saturday was a totally classy event, and would make anyone proud of our great university.
The Baby Race was one of the greatest sporting events I've ever witnessed. I videoed the whole thing and won 20 bucks off my buddy. Thanks Hank the Tank!!!! Just uploaded to YouTube for your viewing pleasure. Please excuse my play by play commentary
I enjoy catching UF when I can, happily UF does make occassional appearances in the North East (I live in PA). But regrettably I struggle to see games. I'm trying to talk Wanne into letting me use his Lear Jet for Gator home games, but so far, ........... no dice.
