Without the TDS Dem crossover voters, Trump beats Haley by 40 tonight in her own state. A state she’s never lost a race in before. Bye bye Nikki.
This video is on point for your post. I wonder if there is a longer cut somewhere. https://www.reddit.com/r/TikTokCringe/s/sETTmhJmUF
Trump not even getting 60% of primary voters and 60% of Haley voters say they won't vote for him in the general. Not good for his chances.
This is not impressive for basically an incumbent president of the GOP in one of the most conservative of states.
Funny considering most of her voters weren’t even Rs. Dems and independents were allowed to vote yesterday and it’s a throwaway vote for Dems as Biden has all but clinched.
So then, Independents have had enough of the circus, the grifting, the self-dealing, and the criming. That works too.
It's hilarious because MAGA doesn't realize it. Trump's margins are not as large as they should be and to think that these voters will automatically vote for Trump in the general is a miscalculation
Hope you are right. According to the below, the voters were 69% Republican, 4% Democrat, and the rest independent. Not sure if other exist polls got similar results. I suspect most of the Republicans who dislike Trump will hold their noses in the general, but also imagine Trump team is concerned about the independents. South Carolina primary exit polls for the 2024 GOP election: What voters said as they cast their ballots
I’m confused by the comment, too. Did Trump beat Haley by 20 points, or 40? It’s a big win, regardless, but I can’t figure out why Trumpeteers have to embellish everything.
2/3's of Democrats would prefer someone other than Biden. So let's say best case, 40% of Republicans in South Carolina don't want Trump. That still vastly outperforms Biden's numbers with his base. And you'd kinda expect to see some support for Haley in her home state where she was governor. Trump is leading Haley by 60 points nationally. Super Tuesday is in 9 days. Most of the states are winner take all delegates. This is over.
Math aside, they are focusing on the fact that GOP primary in South Carolina is open. Democrats and independents could vote in it so long as they didn’t previously vote in the Democratic primary which was earlier this month.
