Pardon me for bringing up something that has been noticeable for years and tweaks my interest looking for an answer that makes sense.

Here. What does Walsh have in her back pocket? It isn't a glove. It isn't part of a transmitter. If it is defensive cards (best answer yet), then she must have a heck of a lot of them. And, yes, this is probably pregame but it is identical to many players from many teams DURING games. 427975370_18392678731070088_8530816617023157231_n.jpg

Its a holder for the cards. Same thing some of them wear on their wrists, or used to before the pitchcoms.

Perhaps but, if so, then why only one or two players, or in most games none. If it is either offensive or defensive cards, more players would be showing them. I have seen both offensive and defensive players pulling cards out of their pockets but to my recollection never in some sort of hard cover container. And your accessories link doesn't have anything resembling this. But I am still buying it as the best answer so far.

Tell you what, imo, the competition might not have been the greatest, but to pitch as we have with three youngsters is impressive. All these no hitters/perfect games takes some luck/good fortune but alot of skill as well…and good defense. I’d like to give some credit to the pitching staff as well. Very encouraging

In the last six games, Gators have outscored their opponents 82 - 1. This cannot be good for college softball. First of all it might give the Gators a false sense of security and secondly it has to be very demoralizing to their opponents. When the new NCAA Div I stats come out, Gators will have the lowest ERA in the country and one of the top three batting averages. These girls are good but not that good yet. I wish they would have scheduled more quality competition.

A little news was found out by a friend of ours who spoke with Dad about the tall UIC pitcher.
Last year, she 1-hit Oklahoma at Oklahoma. The one hit was a homer, unfortunately.
He said after the game, OK boosters approached them and offered them big money, with free tuition and room and board.
They said no thanks. She is happy where she is and has a bed to sleep in.
Confirmation of what we have thought all along about OK.

That Cal State-Fullerton game is a little scary. First game after traveling to the West Coast, overconfident due to a cupcake weekend schedul and then facing a team that run-ruled Tennessee. CSF is only 9-6, with wins beside UT over Colorado St. (2), Illinois-Chicago, Pacific, Memphis, Arizona State, Loyola Marymount and Seattle; losses to California, BYU, Grand Canyon, Missouri, Mississippi State, Nebraska. They, also, play Michigan a few hours before they play us on Thursday, but the Gators better be ready and need to be sharp right off the bat.

That's not surprising to me a bit. It was also known that Gasso was a Maxwell fan. She said yes to that scenario. And Keeney who pitched a great game against OU last year and beat ucla.
