Mods - plz don't merge. I think there's plenty to discuss here with a bunch of really good games (thanks). Spreads are just for the sake of interest. 12noon: #2 Houston at #11 Baylor (Hou -2.5). Baylor has to be a little upset with their performance at BYU. Can they bounce back against a title contender? 1:00pm: Vandy at #24 Florida (FL -15.5). Barring a hangover, the Gators should win this one by 20. Let's hope that Kugel is well and earns some quality minutes. 2:15pm: Iowa at #12 Illinois (IL -9.5). Illini choked against Penn State and will be out for blood. Iowa, otoh, will be desperate for a quality win. I expect a hard-fought IL victory. 3:30pm: #20 SC at Ole Miss (MS - 3.5). Must-win for Ole Miss, while SC is trying to avoid a slide down the stretch amid an SEC gauntlet. This is a high-stakes game. 4:00pm: #13 AL at #17 UK (UK -2.5). One of today's marquee matchups. This one is for seeding and ranking. Do ya think Bama's guys will get away with pushing, bumping, and elbowing UK players in RUPP? 6:00pm: #13 Aub at UGA (Aub -6.5). Mike White's squad could do the Gators a favor in the SEC standings/tourney seeding by stealing a win. 8:00pm: TAMU at #5 TN (TN - 10.5). Aggies beat the Vollies by 16 the last time. TN will be out for revenge. There's seven pretty interesting games. Not a bad day for college hoops.
Lots of big ones today! Yes great day for college hoops. Let’s hope our Saturday fans are out in full force and rocking the Dome. We can’t let down against this team or any team from here on out
Oh I take all the breaks: Bathroom, home bar, play w the dog, might even mix in a sauna (can still hear the game).
oh right you're up north. I'm in Buenos Aires for the winter, it's 90 and sunny, different world down here
it most certainly is! There's actually a once in a hundred year mosquito infestation down here (rained at the most inopportune times), so it ain't half wrong
