Proud of our Gators even though we lost. They played well and tough the entire game and they are for real.Go Gators!
hopefully it will be a big learning moment for both the next game with them and the NCAA tourney. next time around, I think we need to play more straight up D with less weak-side help that led to a lot of easy baskets
Losing OT always sucks, esp when a lead slipped away. Just because you know the W was in their grasp. Fortunately weren’t desperate for a win, but if the team had won we would have been firmly back in the regular season SEC champ conversation. Hadn’t seen anyone talk about that since literally nobody had us on the radar a couple weeks ago. So I guess in that way we did “desperately” need that win. But in terms of realistic goals the guys can still look at finishing strong and getting that double bye. Might very well need to beat Bama at home to get that.
Hopefully at home we get better officiating, though we probably a can’t count on them starting 1-17 from 3 again. I expect a similar game but hopefully the home crowd pushes us over the top like theirs did late.
Yes it was, still struggling with it, usually not a "ref whiner" but damn. Freaking shades of the Swindle.
