It’s the same Bama player who boot-stomped Broome’s hand vs Auburn. Shockingly no foul called on that one as well. I know AU sent that in so when the SEC has a 2nd there needs to be a suspension. Go Gators!
Add that to the guy who grabbed Richard’s foot to trip him and what else can you conclude but a dirty team culture?
Those SEC referees were not doing their job in that mele. One can call it negligence on the referees part.
The more I watch that the angrier I get. I’m guessing Golden didn’t catch that live or he would have demanded a review. He’s really good at working the refs. Something the last guy sucked at.
Tbh, I don’t think many people caught it. I didn’t. And I don’t recall discussion on the game thread.
i dont recall the play I presumed it was called on Condon during the collision. My point is… far more egregious than a potentially botched foul… is missing the hammer fist/elbow to the back of the head.
No problem. Also- not that it makes it any better, but Condon was called for the foul on the play; and was whistled just prior to getting elbow smashed.
Ok, thanks. The announcers called Haugh and I wondered if they had it wrong. I didn't see a foul from Condon either. If there was a foul for reaching in, there should have been several such fouls on Bama that were uncalled. The elbow to Condon't head was just injury to insult.
Yeah…I went back and watched. The announcer corrects himself seconds later… “Loose ball foul will go against Haugh. Pardon me… Alex Condon”. Golden is seen very frustrated, but seemingly about the foul and not the missed elbow. He is clearly seen saying… “What’s the call? That’s not a foul! That’s bullshit!” None of the players seem aware of the elbow, including Condon… who gets up and shakes his head.
