So now it turns out that the FBI informant that has been indicted by the DOJ for lying was getting information from Russian intelligence.

Alexander Smirnov told investigators he got Hunter Biden dirt from Russian intelligence officials | CNN Politics

Bill Barr found this out and quietly shut the investigation down but special counsel Weiss under pressure from Trump and the right and fearing for his safety reactivated it with bogus charges. Barr should have fired Weiss or at least reprimanded him but he just shut him down quietly instead so the media circus could continue.

Hunter Biden seeks to subpoena Donald Trump and Bill Barr in his criminal gun case | CNN Politics

And now we find out that the cocaine he's being charged on was saw dust from a table saw.

Hunter Biden’s Lawyers Say Feds Mistook ‘Lines of Sawdust’ for Cocaine

There are many, many right wing politicians and "journalists" who are complicit in pushing this Russian op. And it sure as heck qualifies as collusion.

If that turns out to be true, Hunter could sue them into eternity. Their grandkids will owe him money.

He’s not being charged for possessing cocaine, he’s being charged for being a drug addict in possession of a firearm. He wrote a book about how he was a drug addict at the time.

Whether or not a particular picture has cocaine in it or not does not give the guy who wrote a book about his cocaine addiction a lot of leeway to argue that he was not in fact a cocaine addict.

And the Russian agent guy? Yeah, the dirt he was “pushing” wasn’t the tax evasion or gun crimes that Hunter is actually charged with, it was the theory that the Biden family was running some corrupt deal with the Ukrainian government that doesn’t have anything to do with these charges.

I don’t know where to find a breakdown of prosecutions under 922(g) by which prohibited persons prong someone falls under. I think it’s certainly true that most 922(g) charges are for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, but unlawful user/addict charges definitely do happen from time to time.

Part of that is explained by the fact that felon in possession tends to be the easiest one to prove because you either are or are not a felon, while unlawful user/addict tends to be a bit harder to prove other than cases where someone is arrested high with a gun, because most people don’t publish statements self-identifying themselves as habitual drug users.

    Collusion apologist says what?

The laptop and bribery stuff came from Russian intelligence. The new charges were created because the the special counsel had to satisfy what Trump wanted.

Good thing Hunter isn't running for president then, unlike the creep with over 90 indictments and multiple LOST trials where he has been found to 1) molest women, 2) defraud students of his "school", 3) defraud his private charity (including stealing money from kids with cancer, 4) grossly inflating and deflating his RE holdings to defraud lenders and tax payers.

And that doesn't even include the inciting a riot to attempt to try and steal the election and hording our top secrets for who knows what purpose.

And he’s not charged with respect to either of those things.

The special counsel, who was appointed by Merrick Garland in 2023?

No, but it's being used endlessly by American politicians on right wing media in an effort to smear his father.

Yeah. Garland isn't great at his job. News at 11.

Trump may be right about Putin being a genius (although not about Ukraine). But a lot of this has to do with Putin owning Trump, who owns the Republican Party. It doesn't take a genius to own a career-criminal former and future president who virtually begs to be blackmailed.

As for Trump owning the Republican Party, that doesn't take any genius on Trump's part, it only takes Republican cowardice and stupidity.

would you agree that these types of charges are rarely ever brought?

the reality is this is just MAGA throwing more crap against the wall and he wouldn't have been charged if his last name wasn't Biden
