Hard to belive that no Florida schools offered Walter. Supposedly he wanted to stay in state to begin with. Supposedly he's a stud football player as well. I love UFs guard rotation, especially when watching Clayton and Pullen together. Walter is just a pleasure to watch.
I like how when someone steals the ball from him and go on a fast break, it seems like he always puts himself in a great position and blocks the **** out of them.
Lol yep. To paraphrase: These guys all suck. X is slow, Y is Weak, Z is slow, etc. (calling players by name). We had to pull 12 guys together to field a team this year. We won't do that again. Ha. Uh, yes you will, Rick. They're all gonna leave now.
Clayton should be very happy with his decision to come back home: Rick Pitino Ripped For His 'Classless' Postgame Interview - NewsBreak
Here's a writeup of the press conference. St. John's conjured up a for-cause to jettison Mike Anderson last year. That research might come in handy.
Li'l Ricky needs to just calm down, coach his guys up, and get a trusted assistant to guard the bathroom door when he's at a restaurant.
St John’s has no lateral movement or athleticism to play D without fouling and is the least athletic team he has ever coached according to Rick. Throwing players under the bus in the media.
I'm just here to say Clayton is as important as anyone on the team. Love Pullin, but WC is equally important to the team. Obviously I guess. Uh, go GATORS!
Is Clayton a legit pro prospect? I would love to see him back next year but fear he's off to the NBA. Damn he's fun to watch.
ive sat behind the Iona bench and within earshot of Pitino’s interactions with his players. Two things were obvious… 1) he is an outstanding coach 2) he is a raging asshole
He’s definitely good enough, but I don’t think he has enough draft buzz to be a flight risk unless we have a deep tournament run. He’s got a newborn, so likely he plays it safe and collects a nice NIL check for another year or two. NIL at least did that positive thing for the game and players. Gives players a good alternative to declaring for the draft too early.
ESPN was blasting Pitino for what he did calling out his players and trashing them to the media. He should be fired now I think. As much money as he has made he should point the finger at himself if his players don't know how to make a bounce pass. Like they said on ESPN he should just retire if he can't handle coaching anymore.
I have no problem with Bino whatsoever, and I doubt that his players have a problem with him. Don’t be surprised if Tina has St. John’s in the running for the final four in a couple of years. As an aside, I love the voice recognition function of my iPhone so much that I have not corrected the spelling of Patino’s name.
