I agree with most of that, but I work with several former officials who have done so in the SEC and ACC and they say sometimes you just get caught up in atmosphere or some coaches just work the refs more or better then others. So they always say while they try not to be but it just happens to most. One admitted he did not like Amanda at UNCC and it carried over to the SEC when she was here. They left the profession because they felt like they could not be middle of road anymore. Our shooting and turnovers are the reason why we are losing and I clearly stated that, but I can complain about the refs and especially when I see one calling on us and not on them. I will complain about the refs though..I have coaches sports over 30 years so it is part of my makeup now
easier said then done saying that, get in the minds of players themselves the days after games. That is why they are called trap games..you can try and try to make the next game the most important game, but you can only try. Up to the players themselves to make it happen
Yeap-people talk about the coaches-and about them motivating the team etc.-but the players too have to respond and make the shots and play with enthusiasm
Kelly worst job this season was not getting more bigs on the roster. She thought she had 2 in the bag and didnt have backup plans.
much more focused to start the half I am going to let you guys enjoy the games. This group doesnt seem to enjoy my passion for the game and like me talking about the refs. So will let yall do your thing.
I enjoy your posts and passion-please continue posting-I have learned a lot from reading your posts-and I agree about the refs
We've shot 23 free throws to their 10, but missed 7 while they've only missed 1. Playing much better the 3rd quarter. Just lost our cool for a little bit. We're outrebounding them 27-18.

Some bad decision on the offensive end have helped KY stay in the game. Too many of our players want to be the hero, although the 2nd half we've had 8 assists, much better ball movement than the first half. All year long, though, down the stretch in close games we go back the "I'm gonna win it" mentality. Hopefully they can hang in there and pull this one out.
