I’m glad to see that it wasn’t a complete waste of my time and my limited brain capacity.

While I’ll take’em anyway we get them, yesterday was different. We didn’t jump out to a big lead and had to fend off a team. We were the team doing the hunting.

As weird as it sounds, winning that way was more comfortable watching, for me.

Stalking down UGA and coming back to finally take the lead, while watching them make mistakes while we made winning plays was a different kind of finish.

It wasn’t always pretty, and we didn’t always capitalize on all of their mistakes, we kept them from advancing ( the 5 point swing was huge).

Again, strangely comfortable for me. Once we got the lead, I thought all we needed to do was match scoring, rebound & hit FT’s ( the FT shooting was the only I was nervous about).

Haugh & Condon both had great games yesterday, at a time we really needed it. UGA had no real answer for either of them.

Again, really good TEAM WIN ( Coaches & Players).

To steal a mantra from ‘94, “ Find a Way”.

Alabama & SC provide a special challenge, moving forward, but everyone after them can’t be overlooked.

The last 2 weekends have shown, anyone can beat anyone in this conference.

I was strangely calm watching the game with full confidence that UF was going to come back and win.

Well said! As I think I posted earlier in the year it’s not how you play in November it’s how you play in February and March. I think this team is turning the corner and peaking at the right time. Go gators!

GTRM8, I’m right there with you. I thought the same when we went 0-6 against Quad-1 teams. I didn’t panic. I liked the tougher early schedule, because I thought the experience gained ( both coaches & players), could pay dividends late in the schedule. Going into a hostile Tuscaloosa against the best team in the conference, while daunting, doesn’t seem insurmountable.

While we lost all six games, we were in all 6, we just didn’t close them. Learning “ how” to close was something we needed to learn how to do. All this without ZP for three games & losing MH due to injury. It was painful , disappointing & frustrating….but look at the dividends now. We’re kinda battle tested, with two guys I didn’t expect, contributing. Our three portal players look like this is their 2nd year playing together.

I’ll take this over what it’s been. I’m normally “ hoping we play well & hoping our coaching doesn’t prevent a winnable game. I’m not as concerned about that now.

Didn't you watch the game on delay while knowing the outcome prior???

Not the same thing but your "quotes" reminded me of another, um, eloquent observation, via George Carlin:

Think about the intelligence of the average American, and realize that half of them are dumber than that!

That was the LSU game. UGA game, I did watch later on recording, but made sure not to look at anything that would show me the outcome before I watched it.

There are runs and there are droughts. The opposing team having their run when we go into a 2nd half drought is going to lead to a quick exit in the tourney. I don't care what you say, to not score in the last 10 minutes is crazy.

Ahhh that's right. Thought you were making a subtle joke but it was the lsu game. Yes, I wasn't worried watching us trail Georgia like I am when we have lost big leads. Just knew Georgia couldn't keep up their pace and we hung in early for playing so poorly.
