I'm sure that you have done extensive analysis on civil fraud law and precedent in New York state. Could you provide the legal rationale for your claim?

I’ve never been on the wrong end of a $355m suit so I don’t know but why won’t he have to at least make payments on that?

Most likely after he appeals it, will be overturned.

You don't think he'll appeal this?

He probably will. Do you think appealing a decision means that you automatically win the appeal? On what case law do you think that his appeal wins?

More likely, if anything, it will be reduced.

Is there a way to appeal a money judgment in New York without being required to post an appellate bond?

I'll agree with that. I think in the end it will be next to nothing

I remember the legal talking heads on TV saying that a bond had to be posted before he could appeal the Carroll civil suit. If I remember correctly it was dollar for dollar

I read somewhere no one will be able to give him a bond. So he will have to post nearly half a billion for both trials and he may not have it.

Trump has already burned through millions of "donated" campaign money to pay legal expenses. Now owes Carrol 83 M plus today's 355M. RNC better guard any money they have on hand.... oops didn't the orange one just try to get the DIL installed in there? LOL
