Yes, that's what Trump is, a despicable bully, and it describes how his supporters love how he bullies and insults everyone he possibly can. It's as if they not only enjoy it (schadenfreude) but wish they could take part in it. But Trump does it for them and they love him for it. They revel in his hatred and cruelty. They cheer and applaud for the worst in human nature.

I really find it amusing how Bolton is now the authority, pre Trump the left hated Bolton and he was a poster boy for American Imperialism.
Wasn’t it Bolton and Trump that were going to start WW3 with Iran?
Never happened we are closer to armed conflict with Iran now under Biden than we ever were under Trump.

I seriously doubt Trump would have pulled us out of NATO, just more of his bombastic crap. Sad thing is it leaves it open to debate and we will never know for sure.
    Believe what you like.

IOW someone you don't like can't be telling the truth. You have to like someone for him or her to make sense. That's what's "amusing."

I liked Bolton fine, the Dems hated him, until he said negative things about Trump. The Dems are the ones with the variable goalposts, based on who says what they want to believe.

So it's just Dems who move goalposts, the Trump Party would never do such a thing. Here's what I think. Some people can only interpret reality along party lines. There is simply no world outside of those lines.

Bolton's politics are polar opposite to mine. I wouldn't vote for him to be dogcatcher. But I also have no reason to believe he's ever lied, or is lying now about Trump's desire to get the US out of NATO.

Bolton has expressed his disdain for Trump numerous times and this is coming from a hard right wing ideolouge.
He worked for Trump, he knows what a self serving, un American liar and cheater he is.

Bolton has intelligence and is aware of his surroundings, unlike a huge % of MAGA luddites that swoon in the
presense of the king of con.

For those who hate the idea of a dictator it seems that many give Trump all encompassing powers.
No personal responsibility on anyone who did something stupid and died? Oh, Trump was (mis)quoted and parroted multiple times about drinking bleach? No responsibility on those who mischaracterized what Trump said? It’s okay for Leftists to laugh at folks who did stupid things and refer to them as MAGAts but shame on anyone laughing at Trump’s references? Please. The utter blindness of not seeing a reflection of Trump’s ranting within their tribe is sad.

He obviously doesn’t like Trump,(who is anti establishment Pub), that’s not a reason to embellish a bit?

Oh yeah, the bleach thing was the extent of it! I think a few MAGA idiots actually drank some bleach, but I didn't hear of anyone dying. His first lethal crap, early on, was stating on national TV that this virus would "just disappear." Then it was people who started disappearing. And he told Bob Woodward in private how deadly serious this plague was, while lying to the American people like it was nothing to worry about. So, remember the Clinton Body Count? Trump has one with thousands and thousands of innocent names. But go ahead and defend the POS.

Ah, yes, we all can project how bad things would be for us with Russia if Trump was POTUS; or, we could look at the facts:
Obama President - Putin invades and takes Crimea
    Trump President - nothing
Biden President - Putin invades Ukraine; but, TRUMP!!!! It will be horrible with him. SMDH.

The "experts" also warned that if Trump moved our embassy to Jerusalem all hell would break out in Middle East.
Trump moves embassy to Jerusalem - relations in Middle East improve.
Democrats back in charge - Iran is back to its bad actions; but, TRUMP!!!

I read it, I don't remember the source, but had no reason at all to doubt it. It's a cult! I recall one whose members drank cyanide because they were told to.

Trump is not miles ahead of anybody on those issues. Trump likes to spend borrowed money, so he is not anyone to talk about controlling inflation (and most of the inflation was caused by Covid spending, which neither president should be held responsible for). Illegal immigration? Trump wants his wall, but Mexicans easily proved that they can climb over or tunnel under his wall, so that didn't work out so well for him.

Ukraine? Are you out of your mind? Trump has done all kinds of things to weaken and insult NATO, which at this point is the only thing between Putin and taking Kiev, thanks to the treason that Trump convinced his republican Congressional ass-kissers to commit. Republicans are not allowing weapons and ammo to be sent to Ukraine, enabling Russia to kill more people and move closer to taking over the rest of the country. Compared to Trump, Biden is the best friend Ukraine ever had. Don't give me this "Putin wouldn't have invaded if Trump were reelected" crap. I am fairly certain he would have--Trump is on record for being against going to war, so what would he threaten Putin with? And even today, Putin is stumping for Trump to get re-elected, because he knows that Trump is good at weakening the U.S. and NATO. That's why he said Biden being president was good for him--because he wants Trump back in office.

Israel? What did Trump do for Israel?

The Middle East erupted because the war in Ukraine was a big enough distraction to let Hamas think they could get away with it.

Most likely, Putin expected Trump to be reelected, and would have gone forward with the invasion in 2022 regardless. It would have given Trump two more years to offend NATO and make the invasion that much easier.

Don't you know? He's a real supporter of Jews and Israel. He dines with confirmed Nazis and has as a close advisor Steve Bannon, a well-known white nationalist. Oh, and don't forget all the myriad hate groups who support him, who definitely hate Jews.

And I'd be remiss if I failed to note that the evangelical-led Republican support of Israel has nothing to do with whether or not or how much evangelicals like Jewish people. It is based on their view, one that is not shared by quite a few mainstream Christian denominations, that Jews must be in charge in Israel for Jesus to return to earth. Some of those people who support Israel happen to like Jewish people very much. Some hate them.

Yeah, how dare him try to Make America Great Again... when elected officials can simply enrich themselves by giving other people's money for foreign dictators for laundering.

Thanks - you're response on Ukraine is hypothetical, as are so many Trump posts. If Trump would have then....
    You're a scientist:
    Democrat - Russia invades
    Trump - no invasion
Democrat - Russia invades; so, let's try this experiment on more time ;)

I understand that you hate Trump and his supporters like Ahab hated a certain whale. I don't care. I was just trying to use schadenfreude and fremdschämen in the same post to be droll. Also, it annoyed me that the authors used the word incorrectly.

Regardless, to my mind, no one hates Trump and his supporters more than you. So you win.

I wish I could throw in so gratuitous French but I got nothing. Sorry, you caught me on a bad day.
